(This is a Voltron and EPIC AU crossover) //KLANCE AU\\ Lance, a Cuban boy with a desire for love, goes out to the forest to visit his friend Allura. Allura was a kind woman who loved everything about the forest, she even thinks that something or someone might be hiding in its shadow. Lance however, has no clue why the forest is so special to her, but he respects her love for it. One day she mentions something about tiny people living in the forest and Lance gets a bit uncomfortable. He wonders if it's true, so he headed out deep into the forest in search for the 'tiny people'. Will he find these so called tiny people? DISCLAIMER: I do not own Voltron or the movie EPIC! Thorn is the reliable one. He takes survival training when he comes of age, helps his parents, and fosters a good relationship with his little sister Twig. So when his parents are taken by something old as time or young as a single breath and the tree he called home was destroyed, he continues to be as reliable as possible. He and Twig embark on a journey to find them, but soon Thorn is engulfed in something he only ever dreamed about, a feud found and lost in the stories. Twig has aways been the little sister. A smart one sure, but still just the little sister following behind. She doesn't mind or hold grudges, she relies on him almost as much as on their parents. Thorn is great, and helps her learn. He cares about her, and life is good. But then the tree that their village was in and on was destroyed, and everything she knows flipped on its head and cast out the window. Something in her begins the barest of stirrings and soon a small piece of magic grows big. They are plunged into magic thought to be lost long ago, as light shines in Twig and something sinister follows Thorn. But is that all that's happening? Twig thinks there is more to it then that, and she is pretty smart after all... Pine has always been the eccentric, sweet, village kid. (In his opinion, more like the Village dumbass) but he is more than that. Okay, sure, he is an eccentric, sweet, smartish dumbass. But he is cloaked in mystery and magic of his own as well. He can hear the music of the soul and can spin sound to his will. Much like light magic, except he just so happens to be an excellent judge of character. (this is my own work, and my first time posting anything I've written. Pls enjoy!)

This is a mostly independent side story to Hopeful Future. In it, an orphan Kinnis girl is discovered and adopted by a human family. It starts before the start of Hopeful Future, but by the time it ends, it not only caught up to that story, but it went past its end point.
