I'm tired of the Instagram version of romance. Romance isn't found in a gift box. It's found in the person who stays.
I found a wish I buried in my 2023 notes app. It was a wish for a love found in intertwined fingers, midnight walks, and the last piece of cake. I realized then that the most romantic thing someone can give you isn't an object. It's their attention, their memory, and their time.
I found that note again today. Reading it now, I realize that love isn't about the grand "I love you" anymore. It's about the person who does the crazy stuff just to make me smile and the one who lets me have the last bite.
It's been three years, and my heart hasn't changed. This is my raw, unfiltered truth. Just a collection of the tiny gestures we usually overlook.
