Venus 'Lucky' Burks is an author whose struggling with her sixteenth story; it contains a reuinon between a mom and her six year old daughter. The problem? Venus has no idea how a six year old girl acts. So her manager sends her the best guide to writing the behavior of a six year old female: a live little girl called by the name, "Quinn." Little did Venus know, though, that Quinn would not only help her write her book, but would also change her relationship with her roomate-in the most unexpected way possible.
