He misses living normally, and needs someone to care for. Frank Iero hates his school, his parents, and his town. He doesn't have any friends, (accept for Ray) and he's dealing with things that no one else will ever know about. That is until... Diminishing Decay is the second story of the series, however, the first was a prequel so this can be read as a stand-alone story! This is a collaborative story about the hardships of MCR as they progress together as a band. The story is Frerard-oriented, going through the rise and fall of both Frerard and the band itself. Okay, so this is a different version of in Love and Death, if Bert wasn't crazy. If you don't want to read part 2 of IL&D you can just start this off from the Chapter My Sweet Prince on the first book. If you don't remember what is going on, reread the book but if you haven't read it, go do that. This goes out to all the people who started hating me after this made Bert look like the bad guy. I know for a fact he isn't a bad person at all, I just started typing and couldn't stop. This story starts right after the whole thing between Brian and Zoe, when Bert finds her with Brian. This time, something else happens.

In a small village, the townspeople all live together in harmony. But when a young woman is found dead, a wave of fear washes over the former peaceful village.17 year old Gerard Way is a young man who is well liked by everyone in the village, partly due to his families status in the village. Despite the fact that his village is a God fearing one and he wears dresses. And when another murder is committed, showing the same signs, the village turns to full blown panic, and reinforcements are sent in to help. A Werewolf hunter and his son have traveled to help save this village from the belly of the beast, all while Gerard begins to question everything. The only person he could truly trust during this time of fear, is his boyfriend and lover, Frank. Frank and Gerard have been having a secret relationship, fearing they would be condemned to death if anyone knew. But as more blood is shed and more bodies hit the ground, Gerard begins to piece together that the beast is closer than he thinks.
