Growing up in Jackson isn't easy, but it beats being out in the world, being attacked by infected left and right. You and Ellie have been friends ever since she moved to Jackson. You showed her around, and have been one of her first real friends. You realize that you start to have feelings for her. Ever since you saw Ellie kiss Dina, you've been shattered. Little did you know that Ellie really did have feelings for you too. (THIS IS GONNA BE SO BAD OMFG 😭😭😭😭) This is my first long fic so be patient with me pleaseee I plan for this to be around 30-40 chapters long, maybe more. Jackson County is safe, it's civilized and it's where Ellie and Joel now reside after a long and exhausting experience. Ellie is disheartened by what she heard about the Fireflies but it contempt with living the rest of her life where they don't have to fight for it every day. Four years have passed and life has been peaceful for the residents of Jackson County. Little does Ellie know that the very reason she is alive today is based on a lie. Based off the video game originally by Naughty Dog

Joel is determined to get Ellie to see his point of view. In his eyes, he did the right thing. And while he also knows that Jackson promises a sanctuary and a moment of respite, he can't help but feel that their time together is limited. More than anything, he wants to be there for her, even if that means the countless hours it'll take teaching her how to swim.

The game begins with Joel and tommy as we could see in the original. Then we get to play as Ellie who goes on a scavenging mission to locate infected and eliminate them. She is taking Dina with her. Everything until this point is overtaken. Now the custom story begins

Raven's parents were killed by infected a few days after she was born. Marlene was close with her parents, so she took her in as her own. Marlene is the one that named her, and she got the name "Raven" because it means "dark-haired and wise." Most call her "Rae" for short, especially Abby and Marlene. Raven has always thought of Marlene as her mother, biological or not. Marlene thought of her as her daughter, that she would always protect no matter what.
