[Rewritten] Following the end of the Third World War in 2358, the Scientists created the Watch - a device that counts down until you meet your Soul Mate. Known as the technological leaders who brought about world peace and saved humanity from extinction, the Scientists were unequivocally trusted, their rules unquestioned. Two-hundred years later in 2518, the Jackson Theatre explosion rocked America and became known as the largest destruction the world had seen since the end of the War. The impact was profound - shaken and confused, the Scientists' Society became unhinged. When a cripple, an Inequit, a spy, an amateur psychologist and a lonely, broken boy come together against the Scientists in a fight for truth, a fight for revenge, and a fight for love, who will be victorious? - The Inadequate Experiments: 2. She has spent her whole life hiding from Rhajan Witch Hunters, fearing her safety even in her own home. So when her coven is handed a mission to kidnap the Rhajan Prince and put him to death, there was no hesitation. Jas cannot stomach life at court. He has spent his whole life avoiding meetings he does not agree with, instead breaking the one law no Rhajan should ever break: he frees slaves, seeing them safely back to Alsidia. When a rumour is spread that he knows the location of the Beasts' Haven, his life becomes much more dangerous than he ever expected. When Thesalia and Jas are thrust into a whirlwind of danger, adventure and hope, they can only do one of two things: continue on as sworn enemies, or acknowledge that they are meant for something much more. - The Reflection of Piper Chastidy Ongoing
