Trapped in a cartridge for many years, enduring the literal definition of hell in his own world, friends dying, powerless to stop his doppelganger as he watched everything in his world burnt to the ground by non-other than Sonic. Even when so when the world is destroyed, Sonic stuck in Hogs body continues to exist along with the Tenrec. Millennial has passed, they have somewhat reconciled but Scorched not entirely forgiven. But then an incident occurs when the cartridge containing Hog and Scorched got affected by some kind of weird energy causing them to glitch uncontrollably until they pop into existence.
