Korra is the new Avatar. Book 1 of this retelling follows Korra and her own Team Avatar as they fight the terror that plagues Republic City, the heart of the United Republic of Nations. Can Korra be just like Aang and bring balance to an ever changing world? Or will peace and order fall? Author's Note Hi all, This is my retelling/fanfiction of Avatar Legend of Korra. I personally don't like the word FANFICTION but it is what it is. When I watched LoK when it first came out it didn't have the same spark to me as TLA. This is my first time ever writing a project like this so I doubt I can catch that rare lightning in a bottle but I'm optimistic. The prologue will be published first and I'll take it from there. The first few episodes will be somewhat similar but also very different to the canon universe. I can promise you that Book 2 Spirits will be totally different. Kai had run away from her family, making a new life in Republic City. Scared of what they will think of her, and her injury. But her family is desperate to find her. How long can she keep hiding? Is her position safe with the Triple Threats? Taking place after the Tv show Legend of Korra, Bolin and Opal have a daughter named Kyatha (Kai). Mako and Asami are mentioned but Korra not as much (sorry!). Show: Avatar the Last Airbender/ Legend of Korra (it takes place in the same universe but after Legend of Korra). *I do not own any of the content in this fanfiction except for some characters and the plot. The Fire Nation has been in a period of peace for years. Benevolent leaders have risen, rulers who care more about the people than their own interests, and the country has managed to become the most stable nation in only a short amount of time. The benevolent rulers and those who used to place themselves over their people, however, have something in common; they are family. Kaida, granddaughter of former Fire Lord Zuko, daughter of Fire Lord Izumi, is the next Fire Lord in line. Her people come first and she wants the best for her nation, but doubt creeps in the corners of her mind, fuelled by her own thoughts and her abilities, twisting her mind into watching a future where she rules, one where Dragonfire and ash is all that remains. In a trip to Republic City, she finds out in the end, her worst enemy is herself. Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Zuko transformed the Fire Nation colonies into the United Republic of Nations, a society where benders and non-benders from all over the world could live and thrive together in peace and harmony. They named the capital of this great land Republic City. Avatar Aang accomplished many remarkable things in his life, but sadly, his time in this world came to an end. And like the cycle of the seasons, the cycle of the Avatar began anew. Only the Avatar can master all four elements and bring balance to the world. A year after Korra and Asami started dating some old people from Korra's childhood decide they want to be known again. Korra has to find a way to tell Asami this massive secret she's been keeping from her, for all good reasons. Note: (Take me up until page 4 to get the juice spilled because I didn't want the chapters to be to long.) Takes place about a year after the season 4 finale (I will try to keep true to the comics as well but seeing as I don't have super future vision to know what the next releases will hold I'm bound to have some differences). Obviously I don't own The Legend of Korra or the Avatar universe, all original characters and set up go to the beautiful minds of Bryke aka Mike and Bryan. The Avatar Aang has just Died, and the search for a new avatar is on. After being subjected to misogyny and sexism, Maya begins the first all female pro-bending team

Y/N is just a man with a difficult childhood became an orphan and raised in the harsh environment mocked as a "Defective bender" So he turn his curse into gift and became a champion fighter into a illegal fighting pit. After the invasion of Amon in his pits he felt Disrespected and Lost a huge winning Money. Filled with Rage he decided to find and kill Amon. Upon searching in Republic city Y/N meet Korra and the others and unintentionally join with their adventures. (I do not own Legend of Korra it belong to the respective Owners.)
