(Name) is one of the 43 children who were born in the same day, in the same time. As if that's not weird enough, the kids born on that day have some peculiar abilities that would make you want to buy them and turn them into superheroes while giving them horrible childhood that will traumatize them forever. Well, that's what Reginald Hargreeves exactly did and (Name) is fortunate but mostly unlucky that she's one of the adopted children. Five/Max Hargreaves was always known was a person who hated affection. He always had this plan set out for himself because of the way he was raised by his cruel father Reginald Hargreaves and how his siblings didn't have much planned out for their future so he felt as if love was a distraction. Reginald specifically trained the umbrella academy not to go near some-burg wells-burg, and for five not to use his powers. Mainly because it was too dangerous and also something bad could happen and disrupt the peace of the earth.

Sir Reginald Hargreeves of Earth Two has seen what his Earth One counterpart is doing to those poor children and he will not stand for it. These kids deserve a better life than this and he will see to it that they get one, whatever it takes.

The whole world knows that Ben Hargreeves's death was caused by a tragic incident during a mission. The seventeen-year-old superhero is constantly recalled by their siblings as the kind soul trapped in a violent body, hence, when the world had its eyes on him, people only saw an angry monster. Even though people constantly feared him, he didn't shrug even once. After all, he still was a boy whose first aspiration was to leave that shithole he was forced to call home to fulfill his dream of becoming a writer. Taking aside the moral debate of his death being either a gain or a loss for the development of humanity, there is a curious fact about his death: Nobody knows the way he died, or if he died. Nobody remembers anything. Only that the Jennifer incident was a tragic accident which ended up with Ben's death. But, what did actually happen? Does everybody forget everything or do they only choose to be silent? Despide all characters belonging to Gerard Way except the ones I made up, the story is 100% made up in my head, so any copies of this fanfic will be tolerated :) This story is crossposted on Ao3.

She can shrink other things too. Quinn was not born on October 1st 1989, like her siblings. She was born 4 years later, on March 11th 1993, along with 22 other babies like her. Mr. Hargreeves adopted because of her special powers. The girl grew up with her older siblings in a huge house. The children had everything! A home full, of luxury, a robot-mom named Grace, and a father. But they didn't have freedom. All Reginald cared about was himself. Many, many, many, many years later the family reunites to solve the case of his death.
