Poppy's sole goal is to return home to her family, just like her Aunt Katniss did all those years ago, but that is going to be hard thanks to Kayden Hadley. Kayden Hadley, son of famous District 2 victor Marcus Hadley and nephew of the late Cato Hadley, is out for revenge. Since Kayden was just a toddler, his father has been training him for the games, and now that he is 18 he is ready to volunteer. But his plan to get revenge on the Everdeen's gets disrupted when he develops real feelings for his enemy. She has to work with people she does not trust to gain the districts approval of rebellion. Without them, the war stands still as to who is winning. The Capitol surely is. But with Katniss's pregnancy growing closer to its end, Peeta must step in to take her place as the Mockingjay. And soon enough, they would be busy being parents. But would that be enough to hold them back from the war they started? Or would they be willing to risk their lives for their child's future?
