Bella and Aiden have been best friends since they met in preschool. They've lived next to each other since fifth grade. They hang out in their spare time, or even if it's not their spare time. When it came to high school his parents switched him to Brown Academy, while Bella had to stay at the public school. For two years she works hard to get a scholarship, and right before her junior year, she gets in. They go, but it proves to be a challenge. Aiden is seen as more as the strong and silent type. He's the guy every girl likes, and the other guys are jealous of. Bella has to deal with a new school with people who don't seem to like her. It's a hard year, with some girls going a little too far, but with Aiden by her side, she tries her best to work her way through it, hoping the senior year will be better.
