The world is dead, and we killed it. End of Ends, a powerful living power source that promised mystical abilities, infinite energy, and a way to save us all from Entropy itself ... immediately had any way of accessing it sold off to the highest bidders. Stars have gone extinct. The past and future were twisted until they broke. Thermo-arcanal war ravaged the planet. The rulers of the world were slain by the artificial God they hoped would help them regain control of the situation. That same artificial God finished off what remained of life itself. And everyone who predicted it'd probably be an unhappy ending was proven right. The end. Or so it seemed. Instead, the post-apocalyptic world of Avarei limps along. People try to survive, in a wasteland now filled with skyscraper ruins, toxic oceans, and monsters galore, where everything is trying to kill you, where Elves, Orcs, Duergars, and even a few Aliens walk among us, and where people can control Fire and Water and Earth and Wind with their minds. They try to survive as the Nihiline, that eldritch abyss created by the universe's Heat Death, that in a few years will consume what remains of reality, stares into people's souls and makes them go insane; so don't look up for too long. And they try to survive when people like Yaouei cause trouble for everyone. The world is ending, so in her mind there are no rules, and even though technically she's been hired by the local Questants Guild as an adventurer, she's more inclined to do things her way even if people complain. It's not like it's gonna matter in the end, after all. Time's up. We blew it up. Nothing matters. Or does it? Maybe there's more to Yaouei than she wants to admit. There have been strange occurrences and rumors ever since she drifted into Allewood Village. Maybe jhe can be the key to saving this world after all ... or finally putting it all out of its misery ... Either way, no one's getting out of here with a happy ending this time either, probably ...

Four weeks after the world collapsed, silence became louder than gunfire. Ryder Thompson believed surviving alone was enough. Hide. Move. Do not trust anyone. Do not get attached. But when he discovers that the undead are evolving, when slow walkers turn into something faster and more violent, survival becomes far more complicated. The city is no longer just infected. It is changing. The dead are adapting. Supplies are running thin. Rumors of organized survivor groups begin to spread through the ruined streets of Diliman, and Ryder must decide whether to remain alone or risk trusting strangers. Among those strangers are people with their own secrets, their own trauma, and their own reasons to live. In a world where both the living and the dead can betray you, every choice carries weight. As the infected evolve, humanity is forced to evolve with them. This is not just a story about surviving the end of the world. It is about who rises when everything falls.

When it came down to the last jar of peanut butter, rule of law suddenly became a luxury no one could afford. Before society collapsed, Killian believed in rules, structure, and order. Then the world changed overnight-humans woke with powers that shattered the old systems almost immediately. Killian wakes up in this new world as a guide: a highly prized role in a society that can't agree on what rules still matter. With no talent or desire for the position, he survives the same way he always has-by keeping his head down, minding his business, and avoiding problems before they notice him. That strategy fails spectacularly when a soft-hearted esper decides Killian is his person-bright-eyed, stubborn, and far more capable than he looks. It gets worse when Killian is dragged into an impossible situation with an eerily composed lightning esper whose control issues are matched only by his fixation. Now caught between one man who looks at him like home and another who treats him like a claim already made, Killian finds himself bound by instincts, power, and attraction he never agreed to. As cities fall, dungeons rise, and new hierarchies take shape, Killian must learn the difference between written law and natural law- and decide what survives when the old rules no longer apply. For ten millennia, the colossal star-vault Rylos has been the isolated domain of the Phoenix Corporation Council, preserving the last remnants of humanity under an ideology of rigid control. Kaelen, an elite Enforcer, is the apex weapon-genetically conditioned and stripped of all emotion-chosen to execute the final, sacred mission: descend to Earth, locate the ancient Genesis Beacon, and transmit the Council's filtered genetic index to begin the new, subservient colony. But Kaelen's descent into the overgrown, radioactive ruins of the Silent City shatters his absolute belief. Aided by Alia, a fierce scavenger who knows the true dangers of the surface, Kaelen discovers the horrific truth: the Council deliberately purged the resilient 60% of humanity's genetic profiles to ensure a future of obedient specialists. Now a traitor, Kaelen races against the clock to find the true, complete genetic index. He must infiltrate the highly-defended Safe Harbor Vault to reprogram the Beacon before Rylos arrives. Kaelen's fight for a real future is complicated by the arrival of Lyra, his former partner and the most lethal Hunter Rylos has ever produced, who is tasked with eliminating him and restoring the Council's perfect, sterile order. Kaelen's final act of defiance is to successfully merge the full genetic registry, forcing the crashing Rylos to launch a diverse, chaotic, and resilient new human future onto the surface, ensuring the species' survival but signing his own death warrant. As the new colony emerges from the wreckage, Kaelen and Alia must become the reluctant guardians of the chaos, preparing for the inevitable war against the surviving, vengeful Council and their ultimate Hunter.

Arianna Galletti has always found clarity in water-the clean slice of a dive, the rhythmic pull of freestyle, the muffled silence of being submerged. As a seventeen-year-old swimmer at George Walton Comprehensive High School, her world revolves around early morning practices with Ace Aquatic Club, the easy banter of teammates who've become family, and the steady presence of her twin sister Brianna. The fall of 2019 unfolds in the comfortable rhythms of school days, Halloween traditions, theatre rehearsals, and the building anticipation of the GHSA State Championship. But woven through these ordinary moments are the threads that will matter most when ordinary ends: friendships forged in chlorine and laughter, the wordless communication between twins, a body trained to move through water, and the instinct to hold your breath when the world goes quiet. June 18, 2020, changes everything. When the Death Angels descend on Atlanta, Arianna learns that survival isn't about strength-it's about silence. As the military crumbles and evacuation boats become the only hope, she must navigate her family through a world where a single sound means death. Their destination: any place where water meets land, where creatures that cannot swim cannot follow. From the chaos of the interstate to the desperate journey toward the coast, from the safety of an island sanctuary to the discovery that silence isn't the only weapon, this is the story of one girl's fight to keep her family alive. It is a story about what water holds-memories, grief, the reflection of who we were and who we must become-and about the current that carries us forward even when everything else falls away. Canon to the John Krasinski A Quiet Place Universe
