Her world changes when the Third Quarter Quell is announced. Now, she must fight for not only her survival but for the survival of the ones she loves.

"These birds," he said, pressing two fingers against the bird on the floor, "...are moss-birds." Its the 54th Annual Hunger Games, and all contestants scatter at the start of the game. Arlo Wren runs towards the cornucopia, picks up a small green bag, and runs away. All they think about is surviving, but only one of them.

We all know Katniss's story of The Hunger Games, a brutal battle to the death between innocent people, but what about Peeta Mallark's story?

This is an ending I came up with for the Hunger Games series. It is told from Katniss's point of view. Imagine if Katniss never escaped from the Capital. Imagine if she really did turn into the Capital princess. Katniss the girl who was known for being on fire is now finally captured and tamed. She was finally caught by the horrendous Capital and now lives there peaceful as one of their subjects. She has forgotten who she is and what she is done and only one person can bring back the memories and spark the fire once again.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the seventy-sixth Hunger Games." Welcome to the 4th Quarter Quell. The rules have changed, and some victors are once again a piece in the games. They never asked for this, but the capital decided that there should be punishment for Katniss Everdeen's actions in breaking the forcefield. What happens when Katniss Everdeen gets chosen to team up with the victor of the 65th Hunger Games, Finnick Odair? Maybe Snow had her compete in the games for a reason and maybe there's a plan in mind to keep people tuned into the games. Sometimes things can look real, but what's real, and what's fake anymore? With obstacles in the way, will Katniss and Peeta eventually find their way to each other, or will this be the end of their complicated love story? disclaimer: I do not own the hunger games.
