In a world where the darkness within oneself is a sickness, and becomes a concrete thing, destroying the organs, causing tissues to go gangrene , poisoning and mutating the body. A particular set of surgeon, if payed the right amount, are willing to search the darkness within the body, remove it completely, promising to then burn it in front of your very eyes. Since the most evil and despicable acts are done consciously, there's a catch: the darkness within takes form only when the person is conscious, therefore, the patient must be fully aware and awake during the surgery. Not the pubblic nor the the Print or even the government knows what happens after this darkness is removed. It does not help the fact that the surgeons categorically refuse to explain what happens before, during and after the operation, not even saying what or how a person looks like once everything is done. Some of them even denying having performed said surgery.

Novella: A post-apocalyptic tale of a nineteen year old male named Grhey as he travels seeming aimlessly, surviving, hiding, and collecting rubber bracelets along the way. Grhey ends every day with a short journal entry, chronicling the highlights and emotions of the day.

Each part tells a story about having a certain disease and what it did for that person. I hope you enjoy the short stories and maybe they'll even help you with your biology revision? I will title each parts with the name of the person telling the story as well as the disease in which they developed.(None of these stories are real.) - Also, I'd like to apologise for the covers of all my stories so far! Some of them may be classed as quite random. However, I just want to get on with the stories and poems on here for now! I don't really want to work on making proper covers until I sort out my style for doing so. Anyway, I hope the way I'm doing things on here isn't irritating.
