Are these the sort of things you like, my dear? the stories and the rhymes that make you shake? are you the sort who seeks darkness and fear? I surely hope you are, for your own sake. In here you'll meet the fear who has a face, in here you'll feel the cold under your bed, In here the childhood terrors have a space, And bedsheets are all weaved of spiders' thread. So, gather one and all who relish fear, and gather those who savour grim good times, find your peace and gladness walking here, in the Never Told Nursery Rhymes. **** These are a few grim little rhymes of my own invention, although I'm sure many of you have noticed that quite a few have outside inspiration. Some of them are meant to be scary, some of them are just meant to have an enjoyable atmosphere, but hopefully at least a few will tickle your fancy. I just want to thank you all for your support as it means alot. And a special shoutout to @StJoey77 and @FlukeAuriola for being the best of friends to me.

Fairy tales, like music and poetry, are a language known to every soul no matter the culture, time, or place. Travel 'over the hills and faraway,' with these varied tales of Faerie and for a little while reclaim the wonder and joy peculiar to a childlike heart. This is a book of contrasts, a stewpot wherein anything and everything might lurk with each spoonful a different taste: high adventure and complete nonsense, serious quests and silly meanderings, real poetry and doggerel verse, one moment grave as death and blithe as a lark the next. As in life, the world of story and Faerie in particular is a varicolored, ever shifting landscape of joy and sorrow, laughter and tears, adventure and quietude. Each story is preceded by a bit of verse or a quotation that may or may not be relevant, many of them are inspired by old nursery rhymes as one wonders what came of the original tale beyond the little passed down from time immemorial to the wondering hearts of children through the ages. Life is a story and with these bits and pieces of story, this crazy quilt of whimsy as it were, perhaps it will add a little more wonder to your own.

In a quaint little neighborhood inhabited by a tight circle of friends and their parents, a new kid moves into town. However, there's something off about the new boy, and something strange is going on in his basement... What could he be hiding?

In this silly, rhyming story, the frog is having a tough time with his annoying friend, the fish. The fish is always scaring away his food and is constantly bothering him. The frog has heard from others that fish aren't very smart. So, he plays a trick on him to see if that's indeed true. The joke is really on the frog though, because the trick backfires. I hope you enjoy the fifth book in the "If I were a..." series. I had such a wonderful time writing this and I hope you enjoy it too and it quickly becomes a favorite bedtime story! This light hearted adventure follows a young girl and her fun loving grandfather as he tries to convince her that if she follows his silly advice she in fact, could catch a fish in a ditch. Sandy is a dandy lion that refuses to eat her meat and veggies. All she wants and all she'll eat is candy, candy, candy! Her favorite sweet treat will take Sandy on an adventure through the forest as she searches for the candy factory that is baking up her favorite candies and sending that wonderful aroma dancing through the trees. In this silly, rhyming story, the cow is having a tough time with his annoying animal friend, the sheep. The sheep baas all day and night and the poor cow can't get any peace. So, he tricks the sheep into leaving by telling him there is a farm down the street and the farmer who lives there loves talking to sheep. The joke is really on the cow though, because the sheep is relieved and felt like he never fit in and he is happy to go on his way. I hope you enjoy the second book in the "If I were a..." series. A nursery rhyme with a twisted fate, as ... Jack and Jill went up that hill - finding themselves in deep jeopardy! Their fate was no longer in their hands, as the beast in another realm took over. This is a story of the Nursery Rhyme where two innocent children fell into a trap at such a young age. Why? It's out of this world! But within a darker format, the plot changes. ~~~ When the brother and sister duo taunted their baby brother repeatedly about "the monster" hiding inside the closet, they didn't expect how their choice of words would haunt them. And once they were dared to enter the mysterious door; that was when they learned that there wasn't any way they could turn back! Thus, Jack & Jill found themselves catering to the orders of an ogre in order to find their way back home ... that is if they ever fetch that pail of water. But after dropping the water on the ground as they lost their balance, numerous obstacles ( the test of time) came before them! Now, will they ever make it back home?
