From out of the carriage falls Lord Hartley Cowden, Baron Aldburgh. Drunk, unconscious, and bleeding, Charlotte and her aunt carry him into his ancestral home. As he recovers in Charlotte's care, Hartley confesses to a crime that nearly sent him spiralling towards his grave. But can she entrust him with her own secrets while coaxing him back from the dead?

The title is pretty self-explanatory, although, to clarify, it will be French poetry which I (attempt to) translate. Hope you like my interpretations of other poets' words. :) Translated Poems: - Le Gout du néant (Baudelaire) - Tristesse en mer (Gautier) - Demain, des l'aube (Hugo) - Spleen (IV): Quand le ciel bas et lourd... Inspired by Jane Austen's Emma. There are always two sides to a story. Let's hear Knightley's version. It's intended to be more short stories from George Knightley's POV as Emma fans already know what happens. I didn't want to re-write what was already known or written (I would highly recommend reading Emma first). In the future I plan to connect it into a novel. January 2023 - First draft complete. Editing in progress.

My beloved reader, this is a story where anything is possible. One must know that this is a glimpse full of despair, drama, fiction and (most importantly, perhaps) romance of the 19th-Century America.

Sam Paine knew exactly two things: That Mrs. Oliver was in the family way, and that the bump on his head was there to remind him never to congratulate expectant mothers again. It wasn't the first time someone had had an adverse reaction to something Sam said, but it was the first time a chain of gossip ended with a report card burning a hole in his pocket, some yarn, and an idea-an idea that maybe Sam was bound for more than counting change. -Complete-

Marquess Ambrose Aboraqua is the wealthiest son of a Duke in all of England. At only 20 years old, he is already a key voice in the House of Lords, an eloquent speaker, new ruler over a small territory off the European Coast, and is the object of attraction for many girls in the country. Despite all of this status, Aboraqua is rather elusive, and very hard to catch outside of the House of Lords and his own estate, leaving his love life completely a mystery to the common eye. When he starts appearing to one peasant girl in particular, what will become of a love when faced with a difference of riches, and perhaps a difference of loyalties? And what can beauty do to one who is unfamiliar with it?

Young Rosella was abandoned by her father when she was just an infant. After three years in an orphanage, Rosella spent the next thirteen years of her life in a harsh all-girls boarding school. When she learns of her father's whereabouts, Rosella escapes in order to find and confront him. On her travels, Rosella soon finds that the world is a terrible and cruel place, run by monstrous men. This tale seems like two tales told in one, for as well we follow the story of a middle-aged man named Thomas Herring, who leads a lonely life. Spending his days in solitude in his large manor in the city of Burberry, Thomas grows tired of being alone and goes out to search for love. As we read on, we soon learn that these two tales, are really just one.

This is Sebastian's diery. Sebastian is a character that I made up. This story is inspired by the game "the evil with in". So it's gonna be kinda bloody. So if you don't like blood and torture I recommend you not to read this story. But if you like madness and stuff like that, enjoy! And of course comment cause this is my first story. So of corse I want some critic god or bad. :-)
