They call it The Phantom Fifth Man-a presence never seen, yet always ahead. And the deeper they investigate, the more they realize... Before the snow, there was the sun. Before Arendelle, there was the cosmos. To the mortal world, Prince Hans of the Southern Isles is a disgraced traitor awaiting a cold execution, and Queen Elsa is the mythical Fifth Spirit ruling the enchanted forests. But the ice of Ahtohallan holds secrets older than the mortal realm itself. Deep within the frozen rivers of memory, Elsa uncovers a shattering truth: she is the reincarnation of the primordial Snow Queen, and Hans is Solteris the radiant, sun-wielding Prince of Muspellsheim. Millennia ago, they were the Architects of Rebirth, destined to usher in a new universe. But a rogue faction of tyrannical gods, desperate to rule the old world forever, assassinated the Snow Queen and tore the lovers apart. Broken by grief, Solteris bargained his godhood and his memories away to follow her soul into mortality. But a chaotic prank by his god-brother Loki went horribly wrong leaving Hans with a shard of a cursed troll mirror in his heart, driven by a twisted, forgotten instinct to conquer a kingdom just to find his way back to her. Now, the rogue gods have infiltrated the mortal courts, orchestrating Hans's execution to permanently extinguish his divine soul and freeze the cosmic clock forever. As Surtur's apocalyptic wrath threatens to burn the realms to ash, a panicked Loki operates from the shadows, and Elsa must race against time to save the "villain" who tried to kill her. To save the universe, the Snow Queen must rescue her forgotten husband and reclaim a love that once shook the foundations of the stars.

Maybe she was right. Maybe I was just paranoid. Maybe I wouldn't die. However, all of my false securities fled as a tip of white hair came into my vision. Nope. I was so dead. || Carter is that kid in the back of the classroom who sleeps the whole hour and will probably still become valedictorian. She's sarcastic, focused, and (when it comes to guys) a complete klutz. So the day that ice seems to follow her from the shadows, she's pretty sure the school pot head smoked too close to her. Suddenly Carter is wrapped up in a whirlwind she never could have imagined featuring evil queens, ancient magic, and a talking pig. For Carter, this is just the beginning. This isn't a story about heroes. It's about what happens after gods forget they were ever divine-and something else remembers. In a universe stitched back together from a cosmic war between creation and oblivion, the echoes of ancient beings still pulse beneath human skin. The Heralds are gone, their golden power diluted into a fractured world where "Supes" rise and fall like counterfeit deities, clinging to borrowed light in a society built on denial. But beyond the illusion of control, something older-and far more patient-has been waiting. Abyssus never left. Now, reality itself is beginning to rot. The Terido, grotesque manifestations of a universe that never fully healed, crawl through the cracks of existence, warping flesh, bending physics, and unraveling truth. The sun is split. The world is fading. And humanity, loud and blind, stands on the edge of a second unmaking. As sirens pierce the silence and shadows reclaim the horizon, one question lingers like a splinter in the mind: What happens when hope forgets how to fight back?

Exert: Little electric tingles raced through her fingers deep into her body where an increasingly familiar ping began to ricochet through her muscle fibres. She glanced at Adam with surprise as he collapsed unwillingly to his knees on the floor next to her. His eyes shone with irritation and apprehension as the first wave of his transformation overtook him and his body began to twist and lurch unpleasantly. Sierra bit back the pain as her own body began to do the same. The clothes ripped from her skin as her body grew and changed inside of them. Faintness started to threaten and she fought it back as long as she could to get her first glimpse of what she was becoming: she looked over to Adam to see a beautiful white tiger struggling on the floor in his place, the poor creature appearing dazed and unsteady, struggling to find its feet after the physical onslaught that had been thrust upon it. Sierra smiled to herself and let the darkness consume her, content with the knowledge that she'd just transformed into the same thing. "Well shit, that's different..." Adele remarked at length, effectively breaking the silence. --------------- A new job is usually a lot to deal with. When you add a new country and a newly discovered secret identity in the mix, it's more than just a lot! When Sierra arrives in Luxembourg, she has no clue what to expect or how to deal with everything, but she does know that she wants answers. The problem is, sometimes the search for answers only leads to more questions. 'Challenged' is the second book in the Skinwalker Series and it is still being fine-tuned. I'd love to hear your views and opinions on my sequel. I'd also be pretty interested to hear some ideas I can maybe add to my rough plot as I go. It's going to be a bumpy ride, but there should be some fun, embarrassing and action-packed times along the way!
