Since I've recently discovered that I have Maladaptive daydreaming, I finally have an answer as to why I have so so so so SO many stories and ideas and prompts in my head all the time, and why I can't seem to get very far with any of them. I've decided to create a little chapter "book" where I'll be putting these little stories and prompts (however short or long) so that there will still be activity here on my account and so that I can feel a lot better mentally when I can get these ideas out. And honestly, since I discovered Maladaptive daydreaming I've definitely been a little worse-off mentally, I just can't seem to get ideas when I need them (such as when I'm going to sleep) and its affecting my mental health. So anyway, I'll be chucking stuff down here, hopefully it'll be good!

Random rants from a 16 year old girl struggling with things she can't understand.

A short story about a girl who created a own reality around her life. This one is based of my own experience with maladaptive daydreaming as a coping mechanism. ⚠️Please keep in mind that writers always make things extra in their stories. So some of it can be true, but in a less extreme way.⚠️ This short story is just an exercise to improve my writing, so if you have any feedback or comments, please let me know. and rain isn't always what it looks like.

Ryver started life with the curse of tragedy plaguing them. Now that everything was settled and organized, they liked their life the way it was- just their father and them taking care of one another in a nice house void of neglect or violence. Everything was finally improving, and they could breathe and live and think a little better than they used to. They were finally becoming happier. Their father must have taken that as a sign to adopt another broken kid. __

This is a story about what i go through with MDD but i am gonna use different names just incase someone i know has a wattpad lol.

The story revolves around a girl who suffers from mental illnesses and among those is maladaptive daydreaming. At first, there was no implications with it, she doesn't have a problem with it and so does her therapist as she uses it as a coping mechanism. However, an unexpected interaction happened and it changed the course of her life. This occurrence started affecting her life and relationship; she's finally seeing the negative effects. Her fantasy and reality began coinciding and she started having a hard time identifying which is which. Scarlet Harrington is a successful and famous writer. All the novels she wrote are brilliant and so unexpected. All that she got to come from her "too high" imagination. But, behind it all, Scarlet has maladaptive daydreaming - a psychological condition where she can spend hours in the world of her imagination. So, she becomes addicted to fantasizing. Until she finally meets someone who she should never meet and brings her to the beginning of her chaos. This story is based on a true event. ~~ "Everything I see is not real. Elissa is a young woman who wanted to feel his father's love. Because she is the daughter of Amelia Villavelez, the lady who ruined the life of the Ophelia resident, everyone is upset with her. Everyone blamed her and despise her. She isn't quite as eye-catching as her stepsister. Her stepsister was always compared to her by everyone, even her father. She's been through a lot in her life. Her father had violently mistreated her. She was kidnapped at an early age and subjected to torture that left her traumatized. She desired to be loved and respected by others, but no one, not even a single person loved her. She was abused, lonely, and traumatized. To escape the unpleasant reality, she decided to create her imagination and universe. she began to prefer daydreams and fantasy over real-life interaction. She sometimes paces and mumbles to herself. She hasn't been herself for a long time. Elissa met a man with whom she fell in love. She promised herself that she would never make him cry and that she would love him completely. Her stepmother began to be concerned about her safety. Elissa's stepmother told one of her friends about Elissa and it was discovered that she suffers from a psychological problem known as Maladaptive Daydreaming. As time passed, Elissa's stepmother's acquaintances visited their home and informed her that while maladaptive daydreaming is a sign of a brilliant brain, if it is not treated, it can progress to schizophrenia, a brain illness in which a person is unable to distinguish between real and imaginary events. Elissa's stepmother was stunned and she becomes increasingly concerned for her stepdaughter. But the question is whether the man Elissa loves is real or just a creation of her imagination?

Indigo is in a constant state of conflict, living life inside her head, instead of the real world. With only Miles by her side to help her through everyday life. This story is an odd mix.. it's partly fictional, partly true. Embellishments have been made but most of it is based off of things having happened in my own life.
