Seokmin knew it was wrong. He knew he should walk away, listen, be careful. He knew what people expected of him. But all he could think about was Joshua wrapped in blankets, feverish and pale, trying to pretend he was fine while pushing everyone away. All he could think about was the way Joshua always smiled gently and said he did not want anyone to get sick too. Joshua was cautious to a fault. He kept distance even when he needed comfort. He swallowed his weakness so others would not have to carry it. He would never ask Seokmin to stay. And that was the problem.
