Oh, she couldn't wait to be free from the rock they called a home. ~It has to work without a prophecy this time~ For as long as Shiver has lived, she and her friends were given one purpose: To repeat the successes of ancient history and end the war between Pyrrhia and Pantala. But before she can do any of that, Shiver must learn how to be a proper IceWing. It's what her tribe would expect if her, isn't it? How else is she meant to make her lost family proud? When the dragonets are captured and brought to the exact frozen wasteland Shiver was meant to call home, she soon learns that the perfect, lavish lifestyle described in the scrolls may be nothing but fantasy. With the lives of an innocent village at risk, Shiver must take matters into her own talons, even if it's not the IceWing way.
