The year is 𝟏𝟗82 in Denver, Colorado. It's currently mid-May but it feels like it's mid-July. It hasn't rained, not once, all spring. I guess 'drought season' has come early this year. It doesn't exactly look like it's going to rain anytime soon either. One Tuesday morning, 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗻 is walking to school, nose in a book, not paying attention to the road in front of him at all. That is, until-- "𝘏𝘦𝘺, 𝘙𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳, 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦!" a voice cries out. This is just a modern day story about the Ghostboys and Finney befriending eachother, maybe even a little more. Oh and way off track, it is modern day but I do use a lot of slang and what not from the original movie timelines(mostly insults) WARNINGS -I cuss a little to much, please excuse me. -This shit can get sappy and corny as hell, I'm trying to embrace real emotions -Bullying and what not, poor Finney's always got dudes on his ween. -Uh Slurs for real, I hope they don't offend you cause that shit is not my goal queens and queers The Grabber will exist in this AU, but not as a kidnapper freak cause I don't want to make kidnapping scenes, I don't have the mental capacity for all that.
