[AU] What happens when one simple overworked goofball of a girl from our world its tossed into a magical world of gods and legends? Chaos. What happens when she wears the skin of one of the worst individuals to ever live and its forced to go through a doomed canon storyline? Absolute chaos. Five hundred years ago, the world decided the Hydro Archon Egeria was dead. She wasn't. Now, under the name Lora, she walks Teyvat again with a single objective: to overturn the future that was forced onto her people. The Heavenly Principles wrote a prophecy. Fontaine is meant to drown. The gods are meant to obey. Lora doesn't. Every move matters. Archons, the Abyss, Celestia-everyone is playing their part, all trying to control the board. And Lora? She's already placing her pieces. Passing the throne to Focalors was only the opening move. Because this time, she isn't fighting fate head-on- she's playing for checkmate. No chosen-one nonsense. Just a former god who intends to win-before the heavens realize the game is already lost.

°°° There are no warnings for anything per chapter because honestly I'm not sure what I should be warning and what to not. The character shows traits of anxiety, panic attacks and there is some gore. Mild flirting and manipulation. °°° I'll be honest with I've no idea what I'm doing. When I woke up, I didn't remember anything. As memories returned, I realised I'd been picked off the Liyuan roadside by my bias. So then I had to remember everything and find my place in this mess. And not make a bigger mess of it.
