Years after the parting of the three lords, the family plans their return. Merida sets off on a new journey as a young lord struck her heart. She always planned to rule without a king after the three lords came for her hand in marriage. She was only sixteen when suitors wanted the honor of her own hand now that she is a new queen at nineteen she believes it's time for her to marry a nobel man which leads her to a new tale of her becoming a mother.

An AU Cannon of the first Movie & a Crossover between it and Brave 2012. Hiccup & Gustav are honorary Cousins. One day, they shoot down the mysterious and elusive Night Fury. How could things go wrong? What's this? Hiccup decides to leave berk after the battle against the Red Death with Trader Johann. Let's see how this retelling differs from the original tale we grew up knowing. Perhaps some future events will turn out the same... perhaps not... We will have to wait and see.

Merida escapes from Dunbroch only to find herself thrust into the world of dragons. Having only heard about them in legends, she needs to adapt to life on Berk if she ever wants to take back her home. While he tries his best to help, Chief Hiccup is only adding to her confusion. There's something about him that irritates and excites Merida at the same time. Will she fall for the quirky and confident dragon rider? Will she stay in Berk? Or will she finally become: Queen of the Highlands?

My heart thumped loudly. It was rhythmic, and I tried to distract myself with the beat. B-Beat B-Beat B-Beat, it was so loud, he must be hearing it. I blushed, of course he couldn't, that kind of thing only happens in books. I was just imagining it, still. I was nervous. He was right there, and I was right here. So close, yet so far away, un-reachable, un-touchable. I needed to clear my head, or say "'Hi'" or something! I pushed my hair behind my ear, even though I loved the style, for several reasons, my long long long blonde hair could sometimes be a nuisance. "Hi" I said nervously "I'm Rapunzel" Rapunzel Corona, Merida DunBroch, Hiccup Haddock, and Jack "Frost" Overland are all just starting 9th grade. High School ain't all it's cracked up to be, as they are about to find out. Join the big four in this modern AU as they attempt to fit in, be themselves, and go through life's trials I do not own the respective characters, but I own the story concepts. Thank you.

Merida's PoV The sky was a light gray, clouds were covering the sky. The wind blew rustling Angus' mane and my hair. My curly red hair was already tangled enough aye didn't need the wind making it worse. The air smelled sour and earthy, like it did just before a storm. Aye breathed in deeply, sitting on Angus' back at the edge of the castle grounds. Aye ushered him forward into a run, pulling on my cloak hood as the rain began sprinkling down. Aye smiled feeling free. Hiccup's PoV I sat on Toothless's back feeling the wind whip and tug at my body. The weather on Berk had been calm for once, but here it was different. I may have been on a diplomatic trip, but I was enjoying the salty sea air. The sky grew darker, and rain began to lightly fall. I smiled raising my hands in the air, "YEAH" and Toothless swooped to the forest floor. We manuvered through the trees, branches, and leaves. It was stormy, but gave the air a rich feeling, and sent me to a world where I felt free. #merricup
