Miss Sybil Branson has just turned nineteen and is returning to Downton Abbey with her father, Tom, to celebrate her birthday. While at Downton, she meets an old friend, whom she has always been fond of. However, unfortunate news has been announced: England has gone to war. Sybil, following in her mother's footsteps, leaves the safety of Downton to train as a nurse in London, while her cousin, George, leaves to fight. Sybil will endure the challenges of being away from her family and also find herself falling in love in the midst of war.

A long time delayed conversation, between two characters in one of my favourite TV series

This story takes place in 1930s-40s Downton Abbey, exploring the lives of the next generation as the war gets closer: Sybbie Branson, George Crawley, Marigold Crawley, Charlie Bryant (né Parks), John "Johnny" Bates Jr., Peter Pelham, Caroline Talbot, Maud "Maudie" Branson (Tom and Lucy's daughter and Sybbie's younger half-sister) and Christopher "Chris" Harding (the son of Gwen Harding and her husband John). Lady Mary, who is now the new "Dowager" of Downton, Thomas Barrow, who is now the butler of Downton Abbey, Daisy or let's say, Mrs. Parker, as the cook of Downton Abbey, and Phyllis Baxter or Mrs. Molesley as the lady's maid of Lady Mary.

Theodore Barrow had done it. After years of hard work, overcoming obstacles, and finding himself, he had made it into medical school. But dreams cannot come all at once, and while trying to navigate his course load, Theodore finds himself thrown into drama, intrigue, and chaos at both Downton and London alike. Luckily, he has his girlfriend, Abigail Bennett, and his father, Thomas, to help him along. But they both have their own situations to deal with. In the end, everyone can't help but wonder when, or if, everything will end up alright after all.

My first modern AU of Downton and cobert! Robert Crawley is the CEO of the Abbey Hoteliers Group based in Yorkshire England. when the Levinson dry goods and Grocers pulls out of their hotel based in Cincinnati for treatment of his son and heir to the company. He's sent to America to smooth things over. Only to meet the daughter of Mr.Levinson, 20 year old Cora, the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen but also the most infuriating. Can Cora's mother make a match of them especially when she thinks Simon Bricker is a better one?Will Robert's mother approve the match?

Slight spoilers for series six. The question comes as she sits at the little table she uses for work.

Set after series 5. A night out with Mr Bricker makes Cora call the value of her marriage and her love for Robert into question. Meanwhile Mary continues to search for love after Matthew, and Edith searches for any love she can get. Downstairs, Daisy is lonely while the other staff seem to all find their soul mates. Mr and Mrs Bates try to put Mr Green behind them, and Mr Moseley tries to win Miss Baxter's heart.

Cora is pregnant but doesn't lose the baby before the garden party. Robert is order to work at the training camp in Ripon. Isobel says yes to the Abbey as Convalescent home without asking Cora or Violet.

Set during season 1. Cora has a hard time with nightmares after carrying Pamuk's body down the hall while suffering from pneumonia. Her fears are triggered when ever she enters the hall or falls asleep.

Written for a prompt on the DA kink meme: Gothic Literature AU. Thomas had to leave Downton in disgrace during S3 and take a job someplace spooky and out of the way, for a handsome man with a terrible secret.

Alternate universe where Cora didn't have a miscarriage and they welcomed their son and heir in 1914. inspired by a beautiful edit I saw on Instagram. The artist stated that the boy in season 6, episode 7 who stops in Robert's room to talk about mothers in a tizzy and comfier houses. The boy would have been the age of the son who died. So I couldn't resist the idea of writing a story about him surviving and learning important things from his Papa.
