In 1966, when the 20-year-old politically inexperienced Queen of Midoria ascends to the throne, Elenora Ashila inherits a kingdom that has become increasingly polarized. Things take a dramatic turn, when high-ranking general, Rikard Pereno, urges her to make him prime minister and dissolve the parliament because of the ''threat'' of communism. A caretaker hands her a telegram from a foreign reporter that tells her about what's actually happening in her kingdom. A game of influence, persuasion, and loyalty ensues.

Book Two: They encourage, not the realists and the brave, but the gullible and the fragile, those too weak to fight back. They massacre lower and middle-class citizens once every month to control the growing population through a method called Cleansing. They rid of all music except modern pop to eliminate diversity, keeping only one artist from each state in the music industry. They stop anyone from going in or out of the country and kick out all those not born within the now-armed borders. And that's just the beginning of what they call "The Great Reformation," the grand change of the United States government and all of its operations. All because the United Kingdom has turned against the nation and declared war, or so President Nathaniel Carter says. Carter, as the dictator, begins to tell citizens certain things, things that Ryan Tedder and his bandmates, Zach, Eddie, Brent, and Drew, don't actually buy. After all, physicist Niels Bohr once said, "The best weapon of a dictatorship is secrecy." Along with this chaos, Ryan is trying to deal with the stress of Ramona becoming distant due to her past reappearing, and the new rules and regulations making his career walk on a tightrope. The national anthem may say otherwise, but the United States is no longer the land of the free and the home of the brave. Not with the new government. The waste lands aren't much different than the society you live in only thing, our walls are tangible The wastelands, you're average post-apocalyptic well wasteland, the animals were mutated, bigger faster, more violent but then again so were the people but you couldn't blame the mutation for them, humans have that monster in them from the start. Only, now when its a kill or be killed situation do we let it out. The Santuary, a bubble, literally and figuratively. They pretend that everything is all peachy while outside that bubble people are struggling to keep alive. Then there is the Outskirts, where the aristocrats of Sanctuary toss out the sick, particularly the contagious, and anyone who dares to commit a crime inside of the queens bubble. The Outskirts is the place I've grown the call home these past few years. Then there is No Mans Land, calling there a waste land would be an understatment Then past that were the pirates God I hate Pirates.

The world had fallen into the hands of a dictator who wanted nothing more than to mold us into his perfect society. No one dared to fight back. We were all lost here, in a world where freedom did not exist. Is there any hope left? We believed there was. However, we had no idea where to look.
