This story is simply about what could've happened if Sophie Foster had been born in the Lost Cities as Edaline and Grady's daughter and being now known as Sophie Ruewen. Although she had a long time where she sincerely believed she was in love with Fitz, something happens between her and Keefe that makes her rethink her decision. Come read and find out what happens next!

The noise started just before dawn when the surrounding farmers woke up to tend to their livestock. Animals braying in the fields filled the dimly lit hills, acting as a baseline for the loud morning to come. Next would come the baker and then the blacksmith and only then would other shops begin to open. Dex tapped a stick of charcoal on the edge of his notebook. He'd head into town around that time, dropping off a few of his parents' remedies, picking up more chicken feed, and checking on Monsieur Elwin's backdoor hinges. They always seem to creak around this time of year and the older man couldn't quite reach the upper ones by himself. Maybe he'd lend Dex some of his alchemy papers... (I return from the grave with a Keefex Beauty and the Beast AU in which I thought way too hard about the worldbuilding.)

The keeper gang are finally getting their Matchmakers scrolls together as one big group, except for Sophie. She is still ruled as unmatchable but Fitz doesn't care. Sophie does, and she wished she could go through the same process as all her friends including her long time crush/boyfriend: Fitz, along with her forever BFF: Dex. Find out what happens on this adventure with the keeper gang finally being able to live their lives as teenagers with drama and love lives of the sorts.
