[Highschool AU Updates Wednesdays PST] Scar was transferred to an international school with Grian and his friends. Scar and Grian have an instant connection with each other. Meanwhile, Cuteguy and Hotguy finally meet up again after a while of being away and something different happens between them. Will their secret be revealed? And will Scar and Grian realise their feelings for each other?

Sometimes a story depends a lot on your point of view, the villain can be the hero, and the hero the villain depending on where you see it from. Sometimes these points of view are easy, like that of Scar, owner of Scarland and loved by the city, who not only brings joy, but also protection when he secretly acts as HoTGuY, for him it is clear what happens, him and CuTeGuY are the good guys and the Whatchers are the bad guys. But what happens when you see the villain with a sympathetic point of view?, and the hero as someone close to you? Grian will have to figure out how to not only deal with the power that the Whatchers have placed on him, but how to hide them from the people he's close to and also use them to defend the city from the very things that gave them those powers. Scar saw a vigilante saving a cat, a blur of black and pink. This leads to a double role play of life, as he figured his crush was already engaged. As one, he was the friend who Grian shared everything with, but what will happen when Grian finally finds out it's both Scar.

This story starts right after chapter 15 of Double Hearted by Kitsuneisi on Tumblr. Cover art was also created by Kitsuneisi. After Grian is released from the hospital things aren't the same between Hotguy and Cuteguy. Hotguy trying to make up for his mistakes leads to an unexpected discovery that could change the lives of mutants everywhere, and changes his relationship with Grain and Cuteguy. They grow closer as the world around them changes. This is also my first fanfiction in 5-6 years I want to note that I am a physically disabled man myself and an ambulatory wheelchair, cane, and brace user, so a lot of what I write in this about experiencing disability is based on my own personal experiences. I, however, do not have a neuromuscular condition like Scar and this will definitely not be accurate to his real condition.
