While she is an amazing fighter, after the war she decided not to continue with things like Peggy did with the SSR. Instead she opened a bookstore like she had dreamed of doing since she was little. Somehow she also has connections everywhere. One day Peggy walked into the store looking just about ready to pop someone in the head. After talking for a bit Peggy decided to bring Alice to the office to see if she could use her connections to help. That's how Alice ended up on a mission to investigate Leviathan.

(Sequel to "A Time Traveler's Soldier.") A year after S.H.I.E.L.D. disbanded, the Avengers are joined by Peggy Carter who is getting used to the modern world. But HYDRA, a set of powered twins, and a psychotic robot bent on destroying humanity make sure Peggy has her hands full. It sure isn't the 1940's anymore.
