*All of the characters and most of the settings do not belong to me- they belong to the author of the story, Sarah J. Maas. This story also takes place after ACOWAR. I have yet to read ACOFAS, and this is being created before the long awaited release of the Cassian and Nesta book, so bare with me if it's not entirely factual.* The war had ended before it had truly began- that was what everyone kept saying, all the citizens. The soldiers, the High Lords and Ladies, and families of the two, begged to differ. It had been a swift war, but it had been brutal. And so much occurred before and during, that the after would be a long and hard healing process. Nesta was no exception to that, and neither was Cassian. The two had become so entwined with one another and so strangled apart in such a short period of time, and they both had their personal traumas to deal with. But they keep finding their ways back to each other, willingly and not, and accept the fact that they need each other- in more ways then they could have thought possible.
