When a semi-sentient starship loses its crew it must find a new one quickly. The nearest planet with intelligence is a small blue globe third out from its parent star. The ship, intelligence fading, kidnaps five humans from the mountains of the Appalachians and re-enters civilization. Unfortunately, said humans are questionably sentient and might not be the best ambassadors Earth could possibly have. When they are through nothing in the galaxy will be quite the same.

A Boyscout troop returning from a weekend in the deep woods discovers that nothing about the world they left is the same. Shambling hoards of undead wander the countryside killing anything that lives. Can this troop survive the trip home? Is there even a home to return to?

The Starship Grokmar has a problem. Somewhere along the way it forgot what its mission was. Fortunately or maybe unfortunately for Grokmar, it still has its crew of five humans from the Appalachians on board to help it rediscover its purpose. Will it be successful? Can the humans possibly help the ship without causing another galactic incident? Only time will tell.

Splinter, the rat sensei, senses something amiss in New York City. His disciples, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo have grown apart since their last adventure the final defeat of their archenemy, the Shredder. Shredder's students Jesse, Jamey, Tasneem, and Cheyenne join the brothers after seeing that they can become heroes like the brothers. After a few days of staying with the brothers while getting to know them more, each sister started to fall for one of the brothers. Jamey and Raph started dating, and Cheyenne and Donnie started dating a few days before Jamey and Raph started. Mikey and Tasneem started dating sometime after them and finally, Jesse and Leo started after them. When Leonardo comes home from his long venture, there is an immediate strain on his relationship with Raphael while mysterious Foot Clan activity and monster sightings cause additional difficulty. The teenage terrapins must somehow renew and strengthen their bond if they are to have any hope of defeating an evil industrialist's army of ancient monsters.
