Following the Bolshevik Revolution in 20th century Russia, the Romanov family was sent into exile. On July 17, 1918, Tsar Nicholas Romanov and his family were brutally murdered. It is said that there were no survivors, but when the graves were uncovered, a body was reported to be missing. In a remarkable display of survivalism (or maybe just luck), Anastasia Romanov narrowly escaped death. As the sole survivor of her family, and the last remaining member of the Romanov dynasty, she fled to America. Having no belongings but the few jewels and family heirlooms sewn into the corset of her dress, Anastasia now has to maneuver a foreign world. She is no longer a duchess, but a ghost. New York City, an unwelcoming place to lost princesses, is the battleground, and she is the lowly foot soldier. After seeking protection at the estate of a wealthy family, Anastasia quickly develops an entirely new identity. As she builds a life around a person that does not exist, she experiences friendship, first love, betrayal, and uncovers secrets that are best left buried. Just as her new life is unfolding, the man who ordered the execution of her family is nipping at her heels, and he is sure she won't slip through his fingers again. For Anastasia, living the lie will be difficult, but protecting her true identity is even more risky - one mistake, and she'll join her family in the ground. // beautiful cover by @irwinthegod // - Random Six, Hamilton & Romanov Lore Ongoing

In 2033, Shiyann "Shiya" McGuinney recalls the first time she met the love of her life and the father of her children during the outbreak of the COVID19 in 2020. Upon the crisis roaming the streets of the world, 23-year-old Shiya moves into her apartment, a few doors down from her parents. While the American government takes repercussions such as shutting down most schools across the country, forcing curfews on citizens, and so forth, adolescents are standing in front of their cameras, backing it out west to Travis Scott's "Out West" and doing the Renegade dance by Jalaiah Harmon on a social media app called Tik Tok. Shiya hasn't exactly hopped onto the "It is, what it is" train; instead, she spends her days exploring her new French architecture apartment while Erik Satie is playing on her orange Crosley Bermuda Standing Turntable. Shiya's expedition came to a halt when she noticed that there was a hidden compartment in her vent, and in the small space, she finds a diary from the 20th century written by a man named Matthew Cornelius Pennington, who played the piano for a wealthy family on the Upper East Side. Matthew's diary entries suggest that he is in love with Naomi Bailey, the daughter of a stockbroker. Once Bailey's father gets wind of his daughter fooling around with Pennington, who is apart of the lower class, he plans to do everything in his power to sabotage their relationship. Despite Bailey's father meddling between the two lovers, Pennington's love for Naomi is perpetual and unconditional. While Shiya is trying to survive the pandemic and stay isolated from the world, she makes friends with her neighbor's brother above her apartment when there is a leak from her ceiling. Shiya finds herself sharing a bond with her neighbor's brother and growing closer towards her, but Shiya, who was once married, has no intention of ever falling in love again because of her late husband, Frank.
