IJ FUCKING WHEEZING

\\

Brielle would be lying if she said she wasn't somewhat intimidated by Marcella.

She was a lot louder and much more confident than Brielle, and it made her a bit uncomfortable. Brielle wasn't necessarily a shy person, though when she was around people who didn't carry a similar personality to her, she felt out of place.

Although, considering how early it was and how late the match was, she probably would be spending quite some time with Marcella, so it was probably best if she got used to her.

Brielle watched as she closed the door and leaned against it, once Luke was completely out of the room. Her breasts were teasing the edge of her open sweater, and Brielle was surprised they hadn't completely popped out yet.

"He's so annoying," she groaned, which surprised Brielle as she didn't seem to find him annoying a few seconds ago. "Why is he so protective of you?"

"He has his reasons," Brielle said, defending him.

"And what are those reasons?" she asked as she sat down on one of the couches, motioning for Brielle to sit down as well. And she did, though she could tell that Marcella was looking to start a conversation based off this, and Brielle was definitely not interested in going into details.

"Reasons," she replied briefly.

"I can just ask him and he'll tell me, you know that right?" Marcella said, and it was almost like she was bragging that she was close with Luke. Brielle couldn't help but chuckle at her words as she knew Luke would never do that.

"I don't think he would."

Marcella just shrugged it off, getting the hint that she wasn't going to get any information out of her.

"How do you even know Luke?" she asked, keeping the subject on him. as she placed her arm on the back of the couch and folded her legs.

"I met him here," Brielle replied. It was kind of crazy how Tyler was the only reason Brielle and Luke had ever met. Of course, she wished she would've met him on better circumstances, though that didn't mean she wasn't glad she did.

"You don't look like a girl that would be here," Marcella observed, laughing slightly. "No offense or anything."

"Trust me, none taken."

She slightly smiled at Brielle, but for some reason, Brielle didn't believe it was real. "So you and Luke are just friends?" Marcella continued.

"Why are you so interested in me and Luke?" Brielle half-joked -- the subject had been on him the whole time so far and she wasn't sure why Marcella was so focused on him.

"I don't know. He's never brought a girl here," she shrugged.

"Oh," Brielle muttered. She wasn't sure if that was a bad thing or not. "But, yeah. Friends."

"With benefits?" Marcella said nonchalantly.

"God, no." Brielle couldn't help but laugh. She didn't think Luke saw her like that. To her, it was almost like Luke treated her as if he was a protective older brother, expect for when the few times he had been a perv -- like when he was actually interested in what kind of underwear she was wearing or when he just blatantly complimented her ass. Or when he insisted on holding her hand all the time and stared at her breasts when she had gotten half naked in public in front of him. "Just friends."

"Really?" she asked in a surprised tone.

"Yeah. Why is that surprising?"

"No reason," Marcella said briefly, rubbing a hand through her long, black hair. She then pulled the ponytail that was on her wrist around her hair, putting it up.

"Okay," she uttered.

Marcella's phone went off after that, not allowing her to reply. Brielle watched as she typed on it effortlessly with her acrylic nails. She had to admit, she was glad something interrupted their conversation, as Brielle was not up to more questioning about Luke.

So she put her attention on the small antenna T.V in the room -- Marcella didn't seem like she would be taking her eyes off her phone for a while and Brielle was always up for watching television. Brielle went to adjust her legs on the couch to get more comfortable, though was reminded of the fit leggings she was currently wearing.

"God, these leggings are so tight," she complained, sliding her hand under the waistline of them to stop them from continuously digging into her skin. She still wasn't sure how she had managed to get them up her legs.

Marcella looked up from her phone and watched on with a suspicious expression as Brielle did her best to adjust the leggings. They looked very familiar to her when she first saw Brielle wearing them, but she didn't say anything. Usually leggings all looked the same, but the waistband on the ones Brielle were wearing had the same zebra print that the ones Marcella had lost last week.

"Can you stand up?" Marcella asked slowly, making Brielle look at her weird.

"Why?"

"Just do it," she demanded, which caught Brielle off guard. She obliged though, and stood up, feeling somewhat uncomfortable that Marcella was just sitting there staring at her ass.

"Where'd you get these?" Marcella questioned, surprising Brielle by putting her hand on her thigh and turning her around to get a better view.

"...Luke gave them to me," she mumbled.

Marcella shook her head before sucking her teeth. "That motherfucker," she cursed, her hispanic accent coming out more heavily than before. "Those are mine."

Brielle immediately turned around and looked down at Marcella, her face scrunching in confusion. "What?"

"I left them at his house," she revealed, completely throwing Brielle off.

She wasn't sure if Luke had lied to her of if they had dated -- either possibility was confusing to her. Marcella had to at least been like 7 or 8 years older than him, and he was barely legal. Was she the ex he always talked about? The way Luke acted around her didn't make it seem like they ever could've dated. There was no way.

"Did you and Luke date?" Brielle asked, still standing.

"God, no. He's a baby," Marcella laughed, baffled at the fact that Brielle would even ask that.

Brielle released a breath of air that she didn't know she was holding. "Then why were they at his house?"

"Why do you think?"

Brielle immediately got Marcella's hint -- though she felt stupid for not expecting it. Luke was around a bunch of beautiful girls all the time and he was a young, and well, horny boy. It was fine. Brielle didn't care about his love and/or sex life. She just didn't understand why he would lie to her face over something so stupid like that.

"Do you want them back?" Brielle asked awkwardly, feeling uncomfortable now that she knew the leggings belonged to Marcella.

"No, you can keep them. Your ass looks good in them," she complimented, making Brielle chuckle uncomfortably.

Brielle sat back down with a sigh, a bit farther from Marcella than last time she had sat down. Even though Marcella probably didn't feel the same way, Brielle felt tension suddenly. It just felt awkward. Did Luke like older women or something? A thing for Latinas? She didn't blame him, they were definitely beautiful. But why would he lie to her? God, he was stupid and confusing.

She didn't care about what Luke did when he wasn't with her. She didn't care at all. Why would she care? She just wanted to know why he made the effort to lie.

It was almost as Luke read her mind as a few seconds later she felt her phone vibrate next to her.

luke: are you having fun (-:

Brielle was confused on how or why she was texting him as he was supposed to be training, although her mind was more so clouded with thoughts of the woman sitting right next to her having sex with him.

brie: yeah ur gf is cool

luke: what? lol

brie: marcella..your gf

luke: ?? she's not my girlfriend

brie: but didn't you say the leggings belonged to her? :-)

luke: alright

luke: that smiley face is terrifying and is also kind of offensive bc i feel like you're mocking me

brie: why did you lie??

luke: idk i didn't want you to think of me like that

brie: like what?

luke: idek how to explain it

luke: when you brought up the idea of me having girls over you seemed upset

brie: i wasn't upset lol

luke: yes you were i can tell when you're jealous

brie: no i wasnt?? are you that conceited that u think i would be jealous lmao

luke: you were jealous

brie: i wasn't fucking jealous luke

luke: no need to cuss, brielle

Brielle could literally feel the smirk through his texts and she wanted to wipe it right off of his god damn face.

brie: k

luke: oh my godj no

luke: ok i'm sorry you weren't jealous

luke: pls don't k me

brie: you annoy me sometimes

luke: you're funny when you're annoyed

brie: then i must be hilarious rn

luke: u are :-)

brie: stop texting me and train for ur match

luke: ashton's in the bathroom idk what he's doing

luke: think he may be jerking off or something

brie: did u turn him on

luke: HES LIKE MY BROTHER STOP

brie: but what if u didn't know him

brie: would u be okay with turning him on

luke: brielle.

brie: yes

luke: we need to stop this conversation now

brie: seems like ur in denial

luke: i'm gonna ignore what you're saying

luke: what are you and marcella doing?

Brielle bit her lip as she began to type her response, knowing that it would get a reaction out of Luke.

brie: she's telling me about her life as a ring girl

brie: sounds good think i might become one

luke: you're lying

brie: i mean u said it yourself; i have a nice butt. i can put it to use now 😊

Luke didn't reply after that, and approximately 30 seconds later he emerged into the room, slamming the door against the wall as he did.

"Nobody's putting their ass to use around here," were the first words out of his mouth, and though he had the most serious expression on his face, Brielle took him anything but seriously.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Marcella spoke, as her eyebrows knitted together. The sound of the door slamming had startled her, though Brielle sat there unfazed as she expected this.

"I was just kidding," Brielle laughed, which immediately made Luke squint his eyes in annoyance.

"Of course you were."

Marcella just look at the two of them confusingly, obviously feeling left out at whatever inside joke was going on.

"I can be a ring girl if I wanted to, though," she pointed out, as Luke walked over and sat in between Marcella and her.

"No you can't," he simply refused, shaking his head.

"Yes I can," she countered.

"Nope."

"Why not?"

"I'd tell them to not hire you," he said, which resulted in Brielle giving him a mean glare as she couldn't really compete with that.

"The people who come here are gross," he continued. "And would you even be okay walking around in a bikini in the middle of that ring? Your face turns bright red just whenever I compliment you."

"I think I'd be a great ring girl," Brielle shrugged, ignoring the comment about her getting flustered whenever she received a compliment from Luke. It wasn't true and he was just trying to annoy her, and she wasn't going to give him a reaction.

"Anyway," Marcella started, steering the conversation away from that subject. She first made the impression that she was all for hanging out with Brielle but now it seemed that she didn't enjoy her company. "Am I coming over tonight after the match?" she asked Luke, placing her hand on his thigh as she did.

Brielle pursed her lips as she watched Marcella's grip on his thigh. If there was one thing she could say about Marcella, she had a way of making things feel god fucking awkward.

"I don't know, but now's definitely not the time to ask," Luke said, sounding annoyed, probably because of the fact that Brielle was sitting quite literally an inch away from him. Marcella glanced at Brielle before letting go of Luke's thigh and going back to her phone without a word.

That question immediately created tension in the room, and Brielle also immediately wanted out. She really didn't want a part of whatever weird relationship Marcella and Luke had going on nor did she want to hear about it.

"Can I use your car?" she asked Luke, standing up before he could answer.

"For what?"

"I want breakfast," she remarked. She was going to comment on how she also didn't want to interfere his date or whatever, but she knew that would result in him accusing her of being jealous again and she did not need that.

"Okay," he replied briefly. "But I wanna go."

"No," she declined, snatching his keys from the coffee table. "I'm going to McDonald's and you shouldn't eat that before your match," she claimed, though she really couldn't care less about his nutrition -- she just really didn't want to be alone with him at the moment.

"Are you calling me fat?" he asked jokingly, putting his hand on his chest as if he was offended.

"You're so stupid." She shook her head before leaning down and ruffling his hair. "Also, you need to keep training, bud. Shouldn't you go find Ashton?"

Bud. Fucking bud.

"Right," he nodded as he pursed his lips and tried his best to ignore how deep in the friend zone he now was. "Enjoy your mcsausage or whatever," he said, before standing up from the couch to go look for Ashton, and praying to God, any god, that he would not find him tossing off in the bathroom.
