Students soon started coming back one by one as they completed the test, and you got out of the way as you walked over to the side seeing your friends excitedly rush over to you, engulfing you in a tight hug proudly whilst patting your back earning a soft giggle out of you
Jimin: Holy shit Jungkook, that was awesome!?
Hoseok ruffled your hair proudly as he smiled down at you
Hoseok: We were all watching from those big screens up there, you should've heard all the gasps in the arena when you ran back to save that guy!
Yoongi: Yeah, and everyone was so shocked at how quickly you understood the clue! Seriously well done kiddo, be proud of yourself.
A sheepish smile painted your lips as you looked up at them before slowly letting your eyes wander off as they caught a glimpse of Taehyung way off in the distance, talking to his friends whilst smiling
Hah, so that guy knows how to smile huh..?
You shook your head and snapped back to reality, turning towards your friends who were nudging you and calling out your name to get your attention
Jungkook: Sorry I zoned out for a second, what did you say?
Yoongi: They just called your name to go to the second test Koo..
Upon hearing his words, your breath hitched as you widened your eyes in surprise and slight disbelief, frowning lightly whilst feeling that same wave of nervousness crash over you once again as you tried to look for any signs that they were joking, only to find none
Jungkook: A-already? B-but I just finished one test-
They nodded equally as confused as you before patting your back reassuringly
Jimin: But hey, don't worry too much about it. You nailed the first test perfectly after all!
Hoseok: Give it your best, good luck Jungkook-ah!
You gulped nodding slowly as you said goodbye to them before hurrying over to where the second test was being held, not wanting to keep them all waiting.
After handing over your wand, you headed over to your position and nodded to yourself as a form of self reasurance, letting out a slow nervous breath as you side glanced at the other students about to head into this test as well.
This test has to have multiple solutions for multiple different powers, meaning there has to be some way you can get through it safely...

Unlike the first round, there was no countdown, instead there was a sudden small flash which instinctively made you close your eyes, and once you opened your eyes again letting them adjust to your surroundings, you noticed you were in the deep dark forest once again. Only this time it looked slightly different...
As you started heading forward you noticed the path you were walking along lead you towards what looked like a cave, you kept your guard up as you carefully watched your step whilst entering the cave
Trying to get your eyes to adjust to the darkness as you pushed past some wines hanging down from above, shivering lightly from the cold air inside that cave as the soft echo following your every move added an eerie feeling to it all
It was all too calm...
However you didn't make it far until you felt something suddenly begin to wrap around your leg, making your breath hitch as you tripped and fell down onto the ground covered by some type of plant roots, a gasp left your lips as the roots started wrapping themselves around your limbs, getting tighter and tighter by the second as you tried getting them off of you.
Jungkook: S-shit- what do I do-
Upon realizing the plants only fought against you when you were moving around, you swiftly held your breath and closed your eyes trying to keep as still as possible hoping it would work, and once you felt yourself slowly sink down into the plants, a thud soon echoed inisde the cave as you hit the ground below the roots
You groaned and got up from the ground, letting out a shaky breath as you looked up seeing the roots gather together again sealing shut once again almost like a trap waiting for the next passerby to fall into it, you sighed softly as you looked around while brushing yourself off, trying to figure out where to go next as you found yourself in a completely new and deeper cave system
Jungkook: Maybe that was supposed to happen..?
Everything was pitch black as you tried to follow along the cave wall with hesitant steps, hoping it would lead you somewhere if you just kept moving forward long enough, though shivers instantly ran down your spine as eerie laughter with the additional screams suddenly began to echo throughout the darkness
The whispers and footsteps seemingly closing in on you by the second made your whole body tremble with fear, not knowing who or what lingered in the pitch darkness currently surrounding you.
You calmed your breathing and covered your ears as you decided to just take a risk and run straight ahead, this all had to be caused by some curse or maybe even gas making you hear these things. Whatever it was, it surely was affecting you physically and mentally, so you knew you needed to get out as soon as possible.
Only being able to see vague outlines of the cave walls whilst you proceeded ahead as fast as you could, hearing the sounds of something- or someone running close behind you which only made your heart more rapidly from fear.
After a while, the sounds of someone chasing you faded and eventually stopped letting you finally slow down to catch your breath, and when taking a closer look around, you found yourself surrounded by some form of a blue moss hanging down from the ceiling of the cave, illuminating the space in a soft blue tone.
Soft pants left your lips as you walked forward, getting a better view of the pit of water ahead of you that completely cut off your walking path
Jungkook: If only I had Jimins power right now...
The water was crystal clear, but also extremely deep... However, it was the only way forward from here...
Without wasting any more time, you got into the water and shivered as the ice cold liquid drenched your clothes and hugged your body tightly, already making it feel suffocating as your muscled instinctively tensed up, and after taking a few deep breaths you dove straight down knowing you had to be close to the end
It was thankfully not that hard to see under the crystal clear water, so you kept on swimming through the cave, avoiding any obstacles in your way as you tried to not think about the time passing too much.
Your main focus was only to find the portkey and get out as soon as possible.
As your eyes spotted something glowing ahead of you, a huge sense of relief washed over you as you swiftly began to swim closer towards what you now could confirm was the portkey you needed to find
Though just as you were about to reach it, something suddenly wrapped itself around your ankle as it violently began pulling you down making you harshly crash against the caves sharp edges, a faint trace of red oozed into the water as you kicked at the kelp pulling you down, desperately trying to get it to let go off of you.
You could feel how your lungs desperately wanted to gasp for air as you begun to feel lightheaded from the lack of oxygen, nonetheless, you kept fighting against the stubborn hold as you tried to swim towards the portkey, trying your best to reach it.
After some time of fighting, your vision slowly started to fade as you felt yourself lose your strength, feeling like you were about to pass out any minute now
Is this really it for me...?
But you somehow managed to gathered the very last bits of strength you had left, and pushed yourself to swim forward as you reached out your hand feeling it lightly grace the metal of the portkey...
The heavy pressure from the ice water that just had surrounded you suddenly disappeared as you landed on the ground with a thud, gasping for air whilst coughing up some water as the schools nurses immediately rushed towards you to make sure you were okay
Everyone inside the arena had been silently watching the scene unfold in confusion and shock, and you panted and shivered whilst looking around, trying to comprehend the fact that you actually managed to make it back.
Your friends pushed through the crowd as they ran up to you, crouching down next to you as they wrapped a warm towel around your trembling figure
Jimin: Oh my god Jungkook! Are you okay?! We all thought you were going to die back there!
A faint smile painted your lips as you uttered out a soft ''I did too...'', only to hiss lightly at the sudden sharp sting in your arms and legs as one of the nurses began to clean the bad scrapes you had gathered on your arms and legs, which surprisingly you hadn't noticed until now
Jungkook: Ouch-... When did I..?
Yoongi: Didn't you notice how badly you got scratched earlier?
Another faint smile painted your lips as you looked up at him and shrugged lightly, speaking in a slightly sarcastic tone at first to try to lightne the tense mood
Jungkook: I was kinda busy trying not to drown? But no I actually didn't feel it, the water was ice cold so I was pretty numb...
They gently nudged your shoulder and you smiled as the nurse finished bandaging up the wounds for you, finally stepping away and giving the all clear for you to go
So your friends helped you up from the floor and carefully lead you over to the bleachers on the side, helping you sit down, though you definietly didn't miss how they would glance at each other with worried and uncertain looks
Jungkook: Spit it out, what's wrong?
They sighed and Hoseok rubbed the back of his nape whilst looking away, evidently concerned as he sighed before speaking up
Hoseok: We overheard some of the professors talking and somethings not right with your test... They think someone was trying to sabotage you Jungkook...
