(A/N- I will use the hero names of the less popular teachers and heroes so that there is no confusion on who they are. I doubt many people recall Cementoss' or Power Loader's real names off of the top of their heads, lol)

I let out a heavy sigh as the last of my students trickled out of the classroom for their lunch break. I scanned the room quickly, ensuring that every worksheet had been collected from the rows of desks. Once I confirmed I had everyone's work, I tucked the papers away in a tan folder labelled "1-A Handouts". Setting the folder aside on my desk to be graded later, I stood from my seat at my desk and began somewhat reluctantly heading towards the teacher's lounge.

I was still irritated with Hizashi for tricking me into cleaning up that morning, so I quite frankly did not want to deal with him. Although I consider the man to be my best friend, he can be quite annoying and insufferable.

I soon reached the lounge, drawing in a deep breath and swinging the door open, stepping inside and shutting it behind me with a soft *click*. I surveyed the room quickly, my eyes darting around to the few teachers and other staff members scattered about.

Toshinori was chatting idly with Kan leaning up against the far wall, and Powerloader was sitting in a chair at a table seated in the corner of the room. Cementoss was flipping through some papers while sitting across from Powerloader, and he occasionally paused to mark something down quickly in a red inked pen. A few others stood around talking and eating their lunch, but I was pulled out of my thoughts too quick to mentally comment on them further.

To my disdain, nearly as soon as I stepped into the room, Hizashi shot his hand up into the air and beckoned me over to him and Nemuri, drawing everyone's attention to me as he shouted, "hEY SHO!" Curious gazes scanned my appearance, but no one commented as they sensed the annoyance radiating off of me as I glared at Hizashi. I crossed my arms and slowly walked to where the two rambunctious idiots were seated next to each other on the couch.

"Must you be so loud?" I grumbled as I stood in front of the green eyed blonde. He flashed me a wide grin and patted the seat next to him vigorously. I sighed and obliged, plopping down next to him with a low huff.

"Yes, yes I must, Sho!" Zashi exclaimed in a softer yet still obnoxiously energetic tone. I rolled my eyes and shook my head, my arms still crossed loosely across my chest. I absentmindedly fiddled with a few loose hairs poking out of my bun as Hizashi rambled on about his day so far and various other things. Suddenly he paused, a smirk growing on his face as he whipped his head back towards me. I inwardly sighed, knowing he was going to either ask me for a favor or force me to hang out with him in public.

Now, don't get me wrong, I enjoy Hizashi's company quite a bit, and he could be both serious and goofy, caring and harsh, all when the situation called for it, so as much as I might not show it to other people, I enjoyed when we would spend time together- (and Zashi knew this quite well)- but not in public. I despised going to crowded places, and when the black haired bimbo and the insane blonde seated next to me went anywhere together, the place was sure to be crowded. The two of them thrived off of human interaction- they couldn't stand being alone for long periods of time, and I was quite the opposite of them. I felt extremely uncomfortable in many social situations, although I didn't show it, masking it with disinterest. Luckily, having known me for over 15 years, Zashi knew when I was too uncomfortable or overwhelmed with anything, picking up on the subtle clues I unknowingly dropped. If he noticed anything, he would quickly find a reason to whisk me out of whatever situation we were in, and I appreciated that he respected my limits like he did, unlike... some people.

"Hey Shooo?" He dragged out, his vibrant green eyes peering out from over the triangle rims of his clunky golden glasses to meet my dull gray ones. The smirk never left his face as he turned his body to fully face me, preparing to ask and possibly plead for me to do whatever he wanted me to do.

I sighed and closed my eyes for a moment. "Yes, Mic?" His smirk contorted into an expression of fake shock and hurt, a hand flying up to grip his chest dramatically as he let out a big gasp.

"Wowww, calling me by my hero name, huh? Low blow man, you must be really mad at me about this morning," He retorted in a mocking tone. I jolted ever so slightly when I opened my eyes again. Hizashi had leaned forward a considerable amount and was directly in front of my face.

I grunted and leaned back, my face twisting into a scowl. "What do you want?"

Hizashi kept leaning forward as I leaned back, keeping the same small distance between our faces.

"ppppPPPLEEEEASSSEEE go out with Nemuri and I tonight?!" I leaned back further as Hizashi planted his hands on either sides of my legs.

"What the fuck are you doing Yamada?" I hissed, my eyes narrowing as he flashed me his signature puppy dog eyes. I slowly uncrossed my arms and moved them behind myself, gripping the arm of the couch that I was currently leaning far over to avoid Hizashi's advances.

"Please Shooo?" I let out a short breath and was finally done with the embarassing display that Hizashi was putting on. In one swift movement, I clutched the arm of the couch and swung my legs over it, flipping off of the couch and causing Hizashi to let out a yelp and faceplant onto the hardwood floor.

     "ooWW WHAT?! WHY SHOOO-"

"I'll go if you shut the absolute fuck up and leave me alone for the rest of the day," I growled, straightening myself out and watching as he peeled himself off the ground and shakily stood. Hizashi rubbed his forehead and grumbled, "Not even gonna help me up- WAIT REALLY?!"

"Don't make me regret agreeing Hizashi," I warned, rolling my eyes at his antics.

"I won't, I won't!" He waved his hands in front of his face frantically before spinning on his heel to face Midnight.

"Muri did you hear that! We're getting Sho WASTED tonight!"

"Hell yeah Mic!" I growled and shook my head, directing my gaze to the ceiling as the two had a mini celebration.

"I'm done with you two, my god," I sighed and began making my way towards the door.

"Wait Sho! You didn't even eat lunch!" Zashi called out from behind me.

"Don't care, have class, leave me alone," I said as I exited the lounge and walked down the hall to my classroom. As soon as the door closed behind me, and lounge erupted in chatter. Unbeknownst to myself, every teacher in the room had watched the whole ordeal, and those who don't know myself or Mic well enough were astounded that I had not only agreed to hang out with the two loudest and most obnoxious people that work at the school, but that I had allowed Hizashi to get as close to me as he did without decking him in the face. Those who weren't aware of our long term friendship were dumbfounded.

                                                                                  *Hizashi POV*

I sighed and slumped back into the couch, staring wistfully at the door. A soft, genuine smile broke out onto my face, replacing my normal wide smirk. I couldn't help but feel happy that I am the main person Shota trusts.

"It's loOooOove~" Nemuri cooed from behind me, causing me to whip my head around to her.

"wHAT do you mean by that Nem? Love? HA you're just a riot!" I chuckled nervously, gripping my hands in my lap. The dominatrix pursed her lips slyly and pushed up her red rimmed glasses with a perfectly manicured nail.

"Hizzy, babe, you've been head over heels for Zawa since high school," Nemuri smirked and grasped my shoulders lightly. "It's about time you made a move, sweetie,"

I could barely form words and my face began heating up as I felt the eyes of my fellow staff members boring into me.

"She has a point Yamada," Toshinori commented from his spot in the room. "It's been blatantly obvious since that first day in homeroom..."

"TOSHINORI YOU TRAITOR-" "Haha, so you don't deny it!" Nemuri sprung up from her seat and pointed her finger into my face. "You're a love struck slut!"

"I am not Muri! I swear! Shota's just-" "I'm just what?" I jumped violently and slowly turned around. Shota was standing in the doorway, one hand holding open the door, the other on the edge of the doorframe.

"Um... Hey, Sho..." I laughed nervously. "What, uh... what are you doing here?" He narrowed his eyes suspicously, slowly making his way to the couch.

"Dropped my phone when you were basically straddling me." He crouched down and swiped the fallen device off the floor, his eyes never leaving my face. I felt my cheeks erupt in a blush, shocked at how casually he said those words without a second thought. His eyes flitted away from my face, scanning the room and noticing the other staff members trying to stifle laughs and hide their faces from his stern gaze.

His eyes returned to me, never leaving my own green orbs.

"The hell's up with you, Zashi?" He questioned, stuffing his phone in his pocket and crossing his arms authoritatively. My mind went blank, not a single excuse or comment popping into my mind.

"Uh... why do you ask that Shota? Nothing's wrong, aheh," I rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly, averting my gaze to the ground.

"You know you can't lie to me, Mic. Even if your obvious discomfort wasn't blatantly clear to me, you never call me Shota unless you are flustered, lying, or stressed in some way," He let out a sigh. "Either tell me now or get over it quickly because I have class in about thirty seconds," My eyes widened. You'd think that after fifteen years, I'd be used to how well my best friend could read me, but it still shocked me every day.

"Ah, don't worry about it Sho. Trust me, it's nothing," I let out, praying in my head that he would believe me and let it go.

His eyes moved over every part of my face, and my crushing mind could have sworn that his eyes lingered for a split second longer on my lips before he finally looked away, shaking his head and groaning.

"You are such a shit liar Zash, but alright, whatever. I'm late to class," Shota grumbled and turned back to leave again.

"What do you mean you're late? The bell hasn't even-" I was cut off by Shota raising a hand in the air, flicking his wrist and pointing just as the bell rang, signifying the start of class.

"...Oh..." I got out before he disappeared into the hallway once again.
