Seeing red, internally I scream
As the mirrors surround me.
The gleaming light gouging out my eyes,
Makes me see things I didn't first realize.
I'm trying to live and to grow
Figuring things that I didn't know.
Mirrors around, mirrors down,
Mirrors up, drowning out the sound.
The glass pierces through
Cutting the parts that I dread
But needed to be said.
It's one of those things where you cross a line
Not realizing it had been crossed until you have been burned.
