Soon as we got in I went straight for my room to put my stuff away. Once I got there, I sat on my bed and brought my hand to my chest.
My heart was racing. Was it just from Deku? Or that golden shimmer?
I turned to my window and looked out it. I scanned the yard for any sign of that shimmer, but all I saw was grass.
"Am I losing my mind?" I said out loud.
"Probably, you scream and yell enough." came a voice.
I jumped, what the hell!
I turned from the window to the door, Bakugou was standing there.
"What the fuck, Bakugou! Don't just show up out of nowhere!"
He glared, "I can do whatever the hell I want to!"
I fumed, "Whatever! What do you want?"
"Why are you looking out your window? You were staring out there pretty hard."
I crossed my arms, "Why do you care? I was just staring at birds."
He came into my room, walked over to my bed, and stared at me. He was trying to read me, my cheeks burned.
"Can you not stare at me! You look like a fucking creep."
"You're lying, you saw something out there. You saw it before you came in too."
"How the hell do you know that? Were you watching Deku and me?!"
He backed up a bit as a slight blush crept to his face. What the...?
"Like hell I was!" he snapped.
I glared, "You were! Why the hell for!?"
He was about to say something when I heard more footsteps coming down the hall, it was Deku.
He came into my room too, looked at me then to Bakugou. There was slight jealousy in his eyes. Huh?
"Kacchan? What are you doing here?"
"He was just leaving!" I snapped.
He glared at us, "Whatever!" and stormed off.
Deku looked after him then back to me, his eyes normal.
"What was he doing here? Did he hurt you?" he asked worriedly.
"No, he didn't do anything. He just wanted to ask me something."
"Right... Anyway, I was looking for you. I made us some lunch."
I smiled, "You did? That sounds great!"
He blushed, "Thanks, Ariella!"
My heart skipped a beat and I brought my hand up to the necklace. I got up from the bed, walked over to him and we headed out to the kitchen.
That was the weirdest thing ever...

Thursday Night came and I got into bed but didn't sleep. I took out my notebook and continued writing my story I've been working on. It's about a hero girl assassin, she has a mission to kill a king.
I didn't realize how late it was until my eyes got heavy. I closed my notebook, putting it on my desk. My necklace caught my eye, I grabbed it and fell asleep with it in my hand.
It was dark and dreary at the start, then it turned into a room. Not my school dorm bedroom, it was my home one.
I was sitting up against my dresser, it was another day of abuse and it was the worst one. It was also the same day I got my necklace...
I was rocking back and forth when I heard pounding on my door, it was dad again. I quickly crawled across the floor and locked the door.
"You did not just lock that door, Ariella!" dad shouted.
The pounding continued as I made my way the bed. I got up on it and pulled my legs to my chest.
"Leave me alone! I didn't do anything!" I screamed.
"Liar! I know you did something with that blonde boy!"
"NO! I DON'T LIKE HIM!"
The pounding got louder and louder and the door was kicked in, I screamed again. Dad came over to me and yanked my arms away from my legs. He gripped them tightly.
"You're such a lying little bitch!"
"LET ME GO! SOMEONE HELP!"
He let go of my arms just to slap me across the face. Tears were streaming down my cheeks, blood tears.
"SHUT UP!"
He wouldn't stop hitting me, anything you could imagine him doing he did. That's when he got on my bed. I screamed and kicked with all the strength I could, and I was pinned down.
He grabbed my arms again and held them down, squeezing them extremely tight.
"STOP IT!" I shouted out and everything froze, just like before.
I was the only one able to move. I looked around my room for that shimmer and I found it. It was right at my smashed door.
"Ariella!" it was Uraraka's voice again.
I broke from Dad's grip and wiggled my way off the bed. I hit the ground with a thud and crawled the rest of the way. Soon as I reached into the shimmer, I closed my eyes and was sucked in.
Again I fell through and landed on the sand, I was on the beach. I slowly opened my eyes and was greeted by brown ones.
"Ariella! Are you okay?" asked Uraraka.
I looked over myself, my bruises were gone once again. I was back in that same summer dress and Uraraka was in hers.
"Uraraka! How did you..?"
She sat next to me, "This is your mind. You were screaming for help and thought of me and I appeared."
I sat up, "I did? And the first time? You never told me why I woke up too soon."
She smiled, "The first time too. You subconsciously thought of me and I was there."
"What about earlier today? Outside by the dorm, I swear I saw your shimmer again..."
She gave me a look, "I'm in your mind, Ariella. I don't have a physical body anymore, so no."
My heart raced, "What?!"
"Are you losing your mind or something?"
"NO! I swear I saw something..."
She hugged me, it felt so foreign. Then again, we are in my mind...
She let go, "Want to talk about it?"
I sighed, "No... I don't even know if it was real. I guess Bakugou was right..."
"Wait, Bakugou? What the hell happened to you today?"
I turned to her "It was so weird, Uraraka! When I came back inside, I went to my room. I wanted to see if I could find the shimmer again, but didn't."
"Okay, so how does he fit into this?"
"Out of nowhere he just barged into my room! I said something out loud and he agreed with it, he scared the hell out of me."
"What did you say?"
"I said, 'am I losing my mind?' and he was like, 'probably, you scream and yell enough."
She held back a laugh, "Are you serious? You didn't actually believe him did you?"
"This isn't funny! And no I didn't, but that's not the weird part."
"There's more?" she asked, I nodded.
"I lied to him saying I was watching birds, but he caught it. He came close to me and just stared. I told him to stop and called him a creep."
Uraraka laughed, "Wow, what did he do?"
"He backed up from me, but he blushed! Blushed, Uraraka!"
"What the hell? Bakugou? No way."
"That's what I thought! Then Deku came in... it got even weirder."
I instantly brought my hand up to my neck when I said his name. I felt for my necklace but it wasn't there. My eyes went wide, I started looking all around for it.
"Looking for this?" Uraraka asked and held up my necklace.
"How..? Nevermind, I fell asleep with it."
"Exactly. Here, put it on. Tell me what happened with Deku."
I put it on, "When he saw Bakugou in my room, he had a weird look in his eyes."
"What kind of look?"
"I couldn't really tell, but it looked like jealousy..."
Uraraka fell silent, I started to worry. She looked away and turned to the ocean, a shy tear fell down her cheek.
"Remember what I said when I first pulled you in?" I nodded.
"You said you found something out... What was it?"
She turned, giving a small smile. "It was about Deku. I figured out who he really loved and it wasn't me..."
"W-who was it--?"
"It was you..." and everything faded.
"NO! Uraraka!" I called out but she was already gone and I was in the dark.
I shot straight up, "Wait!" and I was back in my room.
I looked around, it was pitch black, nothing but the glow of the moon. I reached for my phone, 5:30 am it read. Literally an hour before I usually get up.
What the hell was she saying? He doesn't love me...
I couldn't fall back to sleep after that and I got up. I held onto my necklace and made my way out to the living room. I went over to the windows and stared out.
It was a breezy Friday morning, the moon was shining but will soon fade as the sun rises. The stars started to fade as tears broke loose from my eyes.
I heard footsteps from behind, I turned, it was Deku.
"Ariella? What's going on?" he asked tiredly.
"Deku..." I said softly.
I walked over to him then, stopping halfway. Tears were running down my cheeks and they weren't blood red. He looked up at me and his eyes went wide.
"H-hey! What's wrong? I heard you shout."
Without thinking, I ran to him and threw my arms around him. He froze for a second then relaxed. I looked up at him through my tears, he was blushing.
"Uraraka, she..."
His blush faded, "What...?"
I couldn't say anymore and I hung my head, my heart was so hurt. A sudden rush of warmth came over me and I looked up again. Deku was hugging me tight, I blushed.
After a while, he and I both went back to our rooms and got ourselves set for school. Soon as the clock struck 7:00 am, we were all out the door.
On the way to school, I stuck close to Deku, even if it was slightly awkward between us.
Only he and I know what happened earlier, at least I think.
Bakugou's been giving me weird looks all morning, and it's creeping me out. I couldn't take it anymore, I stopped walking.
I clenched my fists, "Quit giving me weird looks, Bakugou!"
He glared, but that blush appeared again. What the hell is going on with him?
"I wasn't looking at you! Why would I even?"
I fumed, "Yes you were! You've been doing it all morning and it's creepy!"
"I'm not a fucking creep! Quit calling me that, Ariella!"
"Quit acting like one!"
"Cut it out you two!" Deku snapped.
We stopped and my eyes went wide, that jealousy look was back. Everyone was watching, waiting for shit to go down but it didn't.
"Shut up you damn nerd!" Bakugou snapped and headed up the entrance.
Everyone followed, Deku and I were the last ones too. We were right by it when I heard a loud bush rustle, I stopped again and turned toward the sound.
What was that?
That's when I saw the gold shimmer again and I knew it wasn't Uraraka, she told me.
I took a step toward the bush and looked into it. For a split second, I swear I saw a shadow of a hand, my heart raced.
I tripped on a step and fell back, knocking Deku down with me. He landed sitting up and I fell into his lap, I was shaking.
That was a fucking hand!
Blush flooded his face, "A-Ariella--!"
He stopped when he saw me, instantly he went from embarrassed to worry. He grabbed my shoulders and made me face him.
"What happened, Ariella?! Why are you shaking?"
I pointed to the bush, "I-- I saw something, I swear I did!"
"In there? What was it?"
"A hand, it was a hand!"
