brock.colbs21 look at our baby 🥺

Finally, we had just landed in Colorado around an hour ago, and now we are on our way over to the Stanley Hotel. It's a two hour drive to our destination, and everyone is already passed out in the car from this long ride other than Colby and I, and of course the Uber driver.

"How many rooms did we get?" I asked Colby in a whisper tone so I wouldn't wake up the others.

"Just one, why?" He answered.

"Oh." I mumbled.

"Did you want two?" He asked with a small chuckle.

"Yeah, I thought you and I could have a separate room from the others, so we could get some sleep during our stay here." I said.

"First off, you know we never sleep during these adventures. And second, is 'sleep' a codeword for something else?" He questioned with a grin plastered on his face while he rested his hand on my upper thigh.

"Colby." I gasped, "I'm saving myself for marriage."

A small chuckle left his lips, "Clearly you failed miserably at that."

"Woah, don't call me out like that." I playfully spat.

"I call it how I see it, babygirl." He chuckled again as his hand slowly wandered up to my inner thigh.

I eyed his movements, "You know..." I let my voice trail off as my hand wandered over to his upper thigh, "That two can play at this game." I grinned.

He playfully rolled his eyes at me, "You won't do anything in front of them." He whispered as he pointed to our sleeping friends.

"Maybe I won't." I shrugged, "Or maybe I will." I purred before slowly rubbing his cock through his tight black jeans.

A low moan left his lips, "I don't think this is a good idea, Atmosphere." He growled harshly into my ear.

"Then why aren't you stopping me?" I asked, looking up to him through my fake eyelashes.

His ocean eyes fluttered down to my full lips. He bit down on his bottom lip as he tried holding back another moan. He then passionately kissed my lips, letting his moan flow from his mouth into mine. I continue to gently rub him, causing his cock to harden underneath my touch.

I quietly giggled before pulling away from him, "I guess I win." I grinned.

"Only because I let you to." He murmured with a short laugh.

"Nope." I mouth pop, "It's just you can't resist me." I cheekily smiled before removing my hand away from his lap, but he quickly stopped me.

"You aren't just gonna do that and not finish, babygirl." He growled, tightening his grip around my wrist.

"Maybe later, when we aren't in a car filled with people." I whispered, causing a low groan to leave his lips, because he didn't like that idea at all.

Suddenly, I was being squished into Colby's side even more than I was before. I turned my body slightly, and looked over at my best friend. Jake was squirming around in his sleep and decided to let his ass take up the middle seat as well.

"Jake." I hissed, but all he did was push me further onto Colby this time.

Colby let out another low moan since half of my ass was on his lap now. He wrapped one of his arms around my waist and tightly held onto me.

His lips brushed against my left ear, "Don't move, cause you're making it worse." He growled, causing me to roll my eyes at him.

"Sorry, but blame Jake." I murmured to him.

Colby's eyes darted over to him, "His fat ass really took up your entire seat." He whispered, slightly annoyed.

"I mean he does have a fat ass." I quietly giggled.

"So." He paused, grabbing my full attention, "How are we going to take care of my problem now?" He questioned me.

"Who's "we"?" I eyed him.

"Atmosphere." He groaned out, "I can't just get out of the car with a boner. I'm wearing skinny jeans, for crying out loud." He hissed underneath his breath.

"Sounds like a personal problem." I sang slightly with a hint of laughter in my voice.

"Just wait until tonight, cause you're in for a real treat." He growled harshly into my ear, causing a chill to run up my spine.

"Hopefully, I'm not disappointed." I winked, reaching for his throat, because I wanted to mess with him even more.

"Why are you guys sitting like that?" Sam questioned us out of nowhere, startling the both of us.

"Jeez, did you just wake up?" Colby asked, breathlessly.

"Yeah, why?" He eyed him.

"To answer your question, my lovely best friend decided to take up my seat, that's why we're in this unfortunate position." I explained, changing the topic as fast as I could.

Sam leaned over, "Damn, that's rude." He chuckled, "But you should wake him up, because we will be arriving at the hotel in ten minutes." He suggested.

"Yes, sir." I saluted which he happily chuckled at.

"Get me something to cover my boner first before you wake him up." Colby ordered, causing me to roll my eyes at him again.

I leaned forward to grab his hoodie from my backpack, but since I moved slightly, it did cause some unwanted friction for Colby, and he thought that the best way to react to that was by digging his nails into my exposed upper hip.

"Oww!" I squealed, making Corey jump up from his sleep.

"Jesus, did we just run over a pig?!" He questioned, panic dripping from his voice.

"Hey, that's rude." I pouted before lightly slapping his man bun.

"You know what's rude." Jake groaned, slowly pulling himself up, "Is being woken up by you idiots." He spat.

"Buddy, you are so lucky right now." I hissed at him.

He eyed me, "Why are you on Colby's lap?" He questioned, his protective side showing loud and clear.

"Because your fat ass took up Appna's seat." Colby spat. You could tell that he was completely irritated with everything that was going on right now.

"Thank you for noticing that my ass is fat." Jake cheekily smiled.

"Oh, brother." I mumbled.

Colby quickly covered his lap with the hoodie I had given him once I had gotten off of him. He let out a sigh of relief, which caused a small giggle to leave my lips, because no one knows about Colby's little problem but me, and I can't help but think how hilarious this is.

I brushed my lips against his ear, "Sorry, daddy." I teased him, because I wanted to bother him a little bit more.

His fiery eyes fell onto mine, "You're so dead." He growled.

"Oh, bite me." I murmured, rolling my eyes as well.

"We are here!" Sam happily announced as he pointed the camera towards the hotel.

"Oh my shoes." I gasped, staring ahead at the ginormous building.

"Shoes?" They all questioned me.

"Yeah, shoes." I breathed, continuing to stare out the window and admired the historical hotel.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. Something about this place just gave me the creeps, and we weren't even inside the hotel yet.

The smell of death leaked inside the car, causing an unsettling feeling to settle down inside of me. With what the psychic had told us earlier about what our future holds for us if we keep doing these types of adventures without being cautious, scares me. It literally scares my soul.

We all slowly piled out of the car and over to the trunk, grabbing our belongings, but as I tried reaching for mine a large hand stopped me.

"I will carry it." Colby insisted before grabbing my bag for me.

I eyed him, "Is it cause it will help hide your boner?" I questioned with a slight giggle.

He quickly covered my mouth with his large hand, "Atmosphere, don't be so loud." He growled, peeking behind me to see if the other guys heard my comment.

"Colby, they can't hear us." I reassured him, pushing his hand away.

"Excuse me?" A deep voice startled the both of us.

"Jesus." Colby mumbled, letting out a shaky breath.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you guys." Our Uber driver apologized, "I just wanted to tell you two to be careful." He said out of nowhere.

Colby and I glanced at each other with worried yet confused expressions written on both of our faces.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked him.

His dark eyes flutter behind us for a split second, "This place brings out the darkest parts about people. Just don't let it happen to you both." He answered, a hint of concern lingering in his voice.

"Umm..." Colby didn't even know how to respond to that.

"Sorry, I know this might seem crazy, but they just wanted me to warn you."

"Who's they?" I questioned.

A deep sigh left his chapped lips, "Just be careful you two." Is all he said before driving away.

"Colby, what do you think he meant by that?" I asked him, hoping he had an answer for all of this.

"The more important question is, why did he only want us to be careful?" He whispered as his eyes fluttered over to where our friends were standing.

"Come on." I sighed, gently lacing my hand with his.

We didn't feel like telling our friends about what the Uber driver had warned us about. We thought maybe he was just trying to scare us, but it almost seemed odd that this wasn't the first person who told us the same thing within twenty-four hours. Maybe we should try figuring out what we need to do in order to stop our future from becoming dark before it's too late.

"We are all wearing black." Jake pointed out, "I just don't get it." He mumbled, "Like, picture a ghost chilling around and he sees someone wearing green, and then he's like "he's cool, man.." and then he just floats away." He explained, causing a chuckle to leave Colby's lips.

"I mean, I agree with you on that, buddy." I said, because wearing the color green didn't make any sense to me.

"Should we do that little ritual thing before we check in?" Sam asked, causing Corey and I to glance at each other.

"Oh, brother." We both mumbled.

Colby went to set the camera down on the edge of the entrance before returning back to the little circle we had just made together as a group.

"We look like we are in a cult." I whispered to them.

"A cult filled with fat asses." Jake shouted before smacking his own ass.

"Jesus." Corey awkwardly laughed.

"Okay, this is the start of the Stanley Hotel." Sam beamed.

"Wait, shouldn't we find some green first?" Corey asked, more like suggested.

"Nope." Colby chuckled.

"There's green everywhere." Sam pointed around.

"This is Colorado. There's green everywhere, brother." Jake said in his fake stoner voice, causing a small giggle to leave my lips.

"That's why the ghost likes green!!" Colby continued to joke around with Jake.

"Ohhh." They all hummed together.

I was standing in between Corey and Jake, holding their hands as we started to get ready to do one of Sam's famous rituals. I didn't want to have any part of this, but these boys would have forced me to do it anyways, whether I liked it or not.

"Oo, Colby." Jake whined, "You're holding my hand too hard." He added, causing an adorable chuckle to leave Colby's mouth.

"So, we just breath in and out?" Colby questioned.

"And moan?" Sam added.

"Yeah, we go like..." Without any warning, Colby did the most obnoxious moan ever which made me cringe while the others thought it was just absolutely hilarious.

"Damn, Atmosphere. I can't believe you fell for someone that moans like that." Corey chuckled.

"Trust me, I wouldn't have." I reassured him.

"Hey." Colby pouted.

"Sorry, buddy." I innocently smiled.

"Oo, she just buddy you!" Corey fake gasped.

A devilish smirk appeared on his face, "She only calls me..."

"Don't think about saying some type of dirty lie, because if you do, I'm going to tell them about the little problem you had in the car." I threatened him through my teeth.

"Atmosphere." He growled.

"Wait, what problem?" Sam questioned.

"Oo, Stanley!" Jake moaned out of nowhere.

"Ew, Jake." I groaned annoyed at his childish behavior.

"Sorry, blame Stanley." He grinned, winking at me.

"Can we just get this over with?" Corey begged us.

We spun around in circles like little kids in a playground. We were laughing our little hearts out as we sang an old nursery rhyme. It made me happy that we were acting like this, and not caring about what strangers thought of us in that moment. We were doing what we do best, just being the little kids we were at heart.

"I'm going to throw up." I mumbled as I rested my hands on my knees.

"Oh yeah, how's that going?" Sam asked as he grabbed the camera.

"I mean I'm still tired and a little nauseous here and there, but not as bad as I was last night."

"That's good." He smiled, causing one to appear on my face as well.

As we walked up the grand steps and into the main lobby, I had gotten this funny feeling inside of me. I was instantly drained of all the happiness I once had just moments ago. I slowly walked away from the group and wandered around the main area. I wanted to understand what was going on with this place, the stuff that no one wanted to talk about, or that no one wanted to truly acknowledge either.

"There's our little empath." A deep voice radiated from behind me.

I quickly spun around, "Jeez, Colby." I hissed, "Don't scare me like that again."

"Sorry, I just wanted to capture you in your little moment." He cheekily smiled as he pointed the camera at me.

I pushed the camera away from my face, "Don't put that too close to me." I murmured.

"Why not?" He questioned.

"Cause I look really bad right now and..." He quickly cut me off with his soft lips.

I smiled into the kiss as I wrapped my arms around his neck. His freehand wandered down to my hip, tightly squeezing my side causing a small moan to leave my lips.

"Jeez, you guys couldn't wait until we got into the room?" Jake hissed, causing Colby and I to split a part from each other.

"Sorry." We both apologize as we tried hiding the fact that we were both blushing hard from how embarrassed we were.

"I miss being able to do that." Corey deeply sighed.

"I'm sorry, Corey." I frowned, giving him a tight hug that he needed.

Devyn and Corey just recently broke up. It came as a shock to everyone, because we always thought they would be the first ones to get married in our group. I mean they were and still are madly in love with each other. They will eventually find their way back to one another, but it will just take some time, and we all hope the time comes soon.

"It's okay" He whispered with a weak smile.

I had my arms wrapped around Corey's waist as he had his arm around my shoulder. Jake, Corey, and I were waiting in the lobby while Sam and Colby were checking in at the front desk.

"So, what happened back in the car?" Jake asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"Umm, nothing." I nervously giggled.

He gave me a look, "Atmosphere...."

"It was honestly nothing." I groaned, hoping he would just drop it.

"Please tell us." Corey begged, "We promise we won't tell anyone not even Colby." He tried reassuring, but knowing these two, they won't be able to keep their damn mouths shut.

"I know you won't just tell him, you'll just make fun of him for it, and do it to his face may I add as well."

"Okay, true." Jake chuckled.

"See." I sighed.

"I'm going to get it out of you somehow though." He said.

"How?" I eyed him.

"Maybe I might tell one of your most embarrassing past stories that they don't know about." He said with a devilish smile.

"Jake." I hissed.

"Oo, tell me!" Corey beamed.

"This one time, Atmosphere decided to go..."

I quickly cut him off, "Jake, I'm going to cut off your dick if you don't..." Corey covered my mouth with his large hand, stopping me from further threatening my best friend.

"Continue." He happily said.

"Well, as I was saying..." I got out of Corey's grip and started chasing Jake around the main lobby.

"Jake! Atmosphere!! Stop!!" Sam whispered harshly as we passed by him.

"You can't catch me!" Jake teased me before running up the stairs.

"Jake Andrew Webber!" I yelled out his government name, "If you don't get your ass back here, I swear to God that I..." I froze in place, because Jake had tripped over a hallway rug and fell hard onto the ground.

"Fuck!" He groaned out in pain, grabbing his left knee.

"Jake!" I gasped, quickly making my way over to him, "Did you break something?! Are you okay?! Do you need.." I was beyond panicking at this point.

"No, I'm fine." He breathed, slowly extending his leg out straight.

"Why the hell did you guys act like that?!" Sam hissed at us.

"Dude, what happened?" Colby asked Jake as he squatted down on the other side of him.

"He tripped over a rug and kind of hurt his knee." I explained to him.

"I'm fine." Jake reassured, "I'm just going to have a nasty bruise though." He sighed.

"Sorry, buddy." I pouted.

"It's okay." He breathed, "It kind of reminded me of when we were little kids in our neighborhood park." He chuckled.

"It really did." I smiled, agreeing as well.

"I'm happy that you guys had fun, but we can't be acting like that again, because they will kick us out." Sam warned us.

"Sorry." We both apologize to him.

"It's fine." He breathed.

"I still want to know about the car situation and her personal ones as well." Corey said.

"You make me want to cry." I groaned out in frustration, because he wouldn't just drop it.

"Okay, we are changing the topic." Colby insisted.

"Here." I mumbled to Jake, extending my hand out to help him up.

"Thanks." He smiled gratefully.

"So, what are we doing, Bando Bros?" I questioned them.

"Let's go explore the outside first, and then go to our room." Sam suggested.

"Hmm..." I hummed as I started to lead the way.

We eventually made it back to the famous staircase that led to the main lobby area. It was filled with old portraits and antique mirrors on both sides. I tried avoiding all the portraits, because I felt like they were staring back at me. The people's eyes in those portraits were extra huge and creepy, it just made you uncomfortable even when you weren't  looking at them.

"Guys." Corey whispered, dropping his bag.

"Dude, why are you crying?" Colby asked as he pointed the camera over to a shaken up Corey.

Do you know what this is?" He asked as he pointed to either side of the walls.

"No." He breathed.

"All these mirrors are facing each other, and you're not supposed to have mirrors facing each other. They said that's worse than an Ouija board." He explained to him, to all of us.

"He's not wrong." I chimed in.

"Dude, they say this is the portal." Colby added, "Like The Vortex."

"Wait, there's a Vortex!?" Corey questioned.

"Yeah, this right here." Colby answered.

"This?!" He gasped.

Corey and Colby slowly walked down the steps and started explaining to us and the viewers about the meaning behind this main area.

"Atmosphere." A dark voice taunted me out of nowhere, catching me completely off guard.

Suddenly, my eyes became glossy as the small hairs on the back of my neck stood up perfectly. The air instantly became freezing as a dark feeling radiated from the end of the main hallway.

I noticed a dark figure standing at the end of the hallway. The figure started to transform from a black puff of smoke into its true ghostly figure, causing my eyes to widen from the fear that was now taking over my entire body.

"Dad?" My voice cracked as he appeared in front of my eyes.

An evil smirk tugged on the corner of his lips, "You should have read that letter I left you. Maybe I wouldn't be so mad at you right now." He spat, his voice dripping with pure anger.

"I-I-..." I stumbled over my words, because I couldn't comprehend what was going on.

"No one can protect you now, not even that stupid kid." He growled as his soulless eyes wandered over to my best friend, "Run!" He warned, and without even a second thought, I took off running.

"Atmosphere..." I ran straight into Jake's arms, "Atmosphere, what's wrong?" He questioned, his voice dripping with concern.

My watery eyes wander up to the staircase, "Nothing." I breathed, noticing that my father wasn't there anymore, "Nothing." I repeated myself.

"Hey, I know..."

"I need some fresh air." I cut off my boyfriend before making my way out of the hotel.

All alone, I walked through the small garden area before stopping outside the Concert Hall. There were millions of thoughts swimming through my brain at the moment.

Why after all these months of him being dead, he decided to come visit me now?

And why is he mad that I didn't read that stupid letter of his?

I don't even know where it is to be honest. I told Jake to get rid of it, and I think he did. But I'm terrified, because I don't want him hurting my friends, because of me not reading it.

I just wanted that monster to leave me alone, but he will never. Not even when he's in the afterlife.

"Atmosphere." A deep voice startled me, "Hey, it's just me." Colby said as he hesitantly took a step closer to me, not trying to overwhelm me more than I already was.

"Sorry, I thought you were..." I decided not to even finish my sentence, because I didn't want to scare him off with who I had just encountered.

"Atmosphere, did you see something that..."

I cut him off, "No." I whispered, "I didn't see anything."

"Atmosphere, I know you're lying to me right now." He sighed, "Like I'm trying to help you, and you..." I cut him off with my lips this time, but he gently pushed me back, "Atmosphere, I'm trying to talk to you." He spat slightly, because I was avoiding his questions.

"And I don't want to talk about it." I spat back, "I don't want to think about it. I just want to pretend it never happened."

"I can't believe you right now." His voice dripping with disappointment, causing my heart to ache.

"Please, Colby." I begged, "I don't want to argue right now."

"I'm not arguing with you." He spat, "I'm just trying to figure out why my girlfriend suddenly ran off with tears in her eyes."

"Some things are better left in the dark." I whispered, avoiding his piercing stares.

"Atmosphere, you can't be serious right now?" He whispered, but I kept quiet.

I was terrified to tell him what I saw, because I didn't want him to be worried. I don't want any of them to be worried. I think if I just don't talk or acknowledge it, maybe it won't ever happen again, just maybe.

"Are you really not going to answer me?" He questioned me, waiting for an answer that I will never give him, "Fine, don't talk to me for the rest of this trip then." He said before walking away.

"Colby." My voice cracked as I called for him to come back.

We kept our distance from each other as we continued to explore the grounds. Our friends noticed, but knew not to say anything about it. We both were upset with each other, but we made sure not to show it on camera. So, we do what we always do best, put on our masks for the sake of others.

We were exploring the Concert Hall, well the basement of it to be exact. We clearly shouldn't be in here, since a sign outside the building said no guests allowed unless for certain events, but when you go exploring with these boys, especially those two, the rules just don't exist to them.

"I did some research, and there are tunnels underneath here that connect around the property." Colby said, causing Corey to eye him.

"Wait, really?!" Sam beamed.

"And that's why Lucy was hiding in here." He added.

We decided to leave the area since there were construction workers working in the main part of the building and we didn't want to bother them. Sam insisted that we come back there later tonight to investigate, because there probably will be no one inside there around that time.

"So, are we just going back to the hotel room?" Colby asked Sam.

"Yeah, I meant let's just go explore it for now."

"Or we could explore each other." Colby suggested with a giant smirk.

"I mean this is California." Corey chuckled.

"Wait, we are in California?" Sam questioned, playing dumb like the rest of the boys were.

"Low-key, I'm down to explore my sexuality." Jake said with a playful smile.

"Dang, me too." I sighed, "I wish Kat tagged along with us." I mumbled, causing everyone to stop walking.

"Bruh, imagine if Kat and Appna left you guys and started dating each other." Corey chuckled at the thought of that, "Then you two would obviously have to date each other. It would only be the right thing to do." He told Sam and Colby.

"Damn, Solby versus Katosphere." Jake chuckled.

"Kat and I would obviously be the better duo." I teased.

"Fuck, no." Sam completely disagreed with me.

"Come on, Sam." I said, resting my hand on his shoulder, "We all know you like the idea of Kat and I being together." I giggled.

"Umm, I..." The poor boy couldn't even form out a sentence to save his life.

"I guess "Kat" got your tongue." I teased with a wink before walking away.

"Man, I love this girl." Corey chuckled, which I couldn't help but smile at.

After grabbing my bag from the front desk and politely asking for what our room number was, they gladly told me and also gave me an extra key for the room. I thanked them before making my way up the steps, but I stopped right on top of the staircase, because I didn't want to go any further by myself. So, I stood there awkwardly waiting for my friends as guests walked by me.

"Why are you just standing there?" Sam questioned me.

"Umm, I was waiting for you guys." I answered nervously, since I was afraid they might see right through my lies.

"Have you vibe anything yet?" He asked.

Suddenly they all started to crowd around me, disturbing my bubble and making me feel uncomfortable.

"Woah there." I let out a shaky breath as I took a step away from them, "Too close for comfort, buddies."

"She definitely vibes something." Corey murmured to the others.

"Wait, how..."

"I mean it's kind of obvious." He said, "Your emotions are all over the place more than they usually are."

Um, triggered." I shockingly gasped.

"I'm being honest." He chuckled lightly.

"Yeah, we can tell that you're on edge." Jake voiced his observation.

"Maybe a demon might have latched onto her." Sam whispered, not so quietly may I add.

"What the fuck, Sam?!" I growled slightly.

"See, she just growled!" Corey pointed out, "Demon." His mouth pops.

"Guys, how about we stop picking on Atmosphere and just leave her alone." Colby suggested, more like demanded by the tone of his voice.

"Thank you." I whispered to him.

Even when he's mad at me, he still has my back no matter what which I will always love about him. But I do want to get some alone time with him tonight, so we can talk about what happened earlier between us, because I love him, and I don't like when there's tension between us, especially over the stupidest of things.

"We're room 428." Sam said as we approached the door.

"Eww, I hate even numbers." I murmured.

"Why?" Corey asked.

"I just do."

"Ehh, I feel it." He chuckled.

"Stop it!" Jake yelled, causing my eyes to flutter over to him, "Dude." He hissed, turning around and softly punching Colby's upper arm.

"Oww." Colby fake whimpered as he rubbed the spot Jake hit.

"What the fuck, Jake?" Sam questioned him.

Colby then decided to punch Jake in his arm with a lot of unnecessary force. Jake's face just showed that he was an actual pain, because Colby doesn't know the difference between play fighting and real fighting.

"Oh, the rings." Corey breathed, pointing at Colby's famous ring hand.

"Why would you do that with the ring hand?" Jake groaned in pain.

"You will get used to it, buddy." I sighed, causing them all to eye me.

"Jeez, you've also punched her with those rings on?" Corey questioned Colby, he was lowkey concerned.

"Oh my gosh." I groaned, "That's not what I meant."

"Then what did you mean?" Jake growled, showing his protective side again.

"Nothing." I sighed before making my way to the door, "Let's just..." I paused as I unlocked the door.

"Wait?!" Sam shouted, causing me to eye him, "How did you get that key?" He questioned me.

"This one?" I asked, holding it up.

"Yeah, I have the key to this place." He said as he showed me his key, "But how did you get another one?" He asked.

"Wait, how did..."

"Oh my gosh." I groaned again, "You guys are so gullible." I murmured before heading inside the room.

"Oh, wow." Jake sniffed the air before fanning his nose.

"Oh, it smells like old women." Sam gagged.

"Nothing's worse than the smell of old people." Jake added.

"I hope every room smells like this." Corey whispered, eyeing the outdated furniture in the room.

"Bruh, someone get some Febreze up here." I groaned at the awful stench.

"Look, there's a surfbroad in here." Jake beamed before pulling out an ironing board from the closet.

A deep sigh left my lips as my eyes wandered up towards the ceiling, "Lord, help our friend." I whispered to myself.

"Dude, they have Narnia in here." Colby said as he opened up a cabinet, "It's a TV." He whispered, staring at the blank flat screen.

"And there's a bed." I smiled before kicking off my shoes and jumping on top of it, "Time to go to bed." I whispered to myself.

"Wake up!" Jake shouted into my face.

"Fuck off!" I spat, flipping him off as well.

He leaned forward and tried biting my finger, but I yanked it away from him, "Ew, don't do that." I whined before rolling on my back.

He decided to get in bed and lay down right next to me without even asking me first if he could even do that. But I soon noticed that he was staring at the ceiling with a cheeky smile plastered on his face, and I couldn't help but wonder why his smile was so bright all the sudden.

"Why are you smiling like that?" I questioned him.

"Remember when the first time our moms let us spend the night together at your house? He asked as his earthy eyes fluttered over to mine.

"Yeah." I smiled as that once forgotten memory resurfaced.

"And you remember how you didn't want me sleeping on the floor, because you felt like you would be a terrible friend if you had let that happen." He said, "So, when your mother went to bed, you told me to come sleep next to you. I was hesitant at first, because I mean we were only twelve and the only other girl I have ever slept in bed with was my mom. And even though we had been good friends for a long period of time already, I was afraid that sleeping in bed with you would mess up our friendship somehow."

"You really thought that?" I asked with a small giggle.

"Yeah, I honestly did." He chuckled at how dumb he was to even think that, "But you remember how you made a small wall in-between us with pillows, because you didn't want me invading your personal space?"

"Yeah, I do remember that." I smiled as I shook my head at my younger self.

"And you remember what happened next?" He asked as his eyes fluttered slightly.

"We both broke down that wall, because of the nightmare I had." I whispered.

"Yup." He smiled weakly, "When I was holding you in my arms... I know this may sound crazy, but.." He paused, peeking over to see if the guys were listening to our private conversation, but they were in their own little worlds as well, "You felt like home to me." He finished, causing my heart to flutter from his sweet words.

"Jake." I breathed.

"I'm being serious, Atmosphere." He said, "It's like in that moment, I knew that you were my other half. Just looking at you reminds me of my true self. And no one's been ever to do that for me." He explained, "You're home to me, Atmosphere." He added.

"You're home to me too, Jake."

"I feel like even if we didn't meet that day in the park that we would still have eventually found each other somehow, someway. Because you are my soulmate, and not even the universe could've stopped us from finding each other."

"I'm truly happy that you're my soulmate, Jake." I breathed.

"I'm happy that you're mine as well, Atmosphere." He smiled before rolling on top of me to give me a tight hug.

A small giggle left my lips, causing him to pull himself slightly off of me, "Let's go be kids again, buddy." I smiled, "With our friends as well." I happily added.

"And let's go catch some ghosts, buddy." He beamed, causing a giggle to leave my lips again before I wrapped my arms around my best friend's neck and pulled him back down to me.
