I scrolled down the comment section, some people agreeing but most disagreeing. I try not to look at these tweets because afterall I am an insecure teenager.
Was I actually gaining weight? I asked myself.
After debating myself, I got up and walked toward my mirror. I put my hands on my stomach, turning at different angles. I huffed and lowered my shirt back down.
I gave in.
I locked my door, dimmed my lights and closed my window. I put on a sports bra with no pants on. And stared. At my body.
I don't think I am.
I gulped, the image of Lucy's tweet running through my mind. I turned to the side, looking at my stomach and sliding my hand down gently.
I don't think I am. I mean, I guess I could work out more?
I checked twitter again, and made a tweet.

I threw my phone down the second I made the tweet, not wanting to see everyones reactions. Then I heard my phone ring.
I looked at the caller, and It was my dad. I accepted it, putting the phone on the speaker and standing up.
"Hey Bug," my Dad said through the phone. "Are you alright? I saw your tweet."
"Yeah. I'm okay.'' I sigh, walking back and forth across my carpet. "I just miss you, a lot. I want you to come home."
"I miss you more. Only a month left." He hummed softly.
"One more month."
We ended up talking for hours, even though he knew what time it was here. We talked about everything and he asked how school was going. But unfortunately, all good things come to an end.
