I felt it,
the change in my chest.
The strong sensation of my heart beating
as fast as it could.
I could almost see the pain in my hands.
I could not breathe.
My lungs stopped working, my heart was trying to compensate.
I stopped.
The world stopped for a few seconds,
I knew the person I loved had left.
And then, just like magic,
the world started again.
The pain subsided,
and my chest felt lighter and lighter.
I was me. I am me.
I love me.
