(Past Thea) -

[Stalker Journal: Entry NO. 6]

"Where are the freaking pain killers?" I quietly groaned, examining the shelves of Target at the medicine aisle.

My stomach was killing me and I had the worst migraine ever. I crouched down to inspect the lower shelves although it was really hard since the white jeans I was wearing, were too tight on me, and suddenly I felt all weird down there.

I eventually spotted Advil and grabbed it, "Finally."

I stepped forward to go the cashier but someone put a hand on my shoulder and stopped me. I turned around to see mystery guy with a flannel in his other hand.

"E-excuse me miss but- You again!" he accused but shook his head and decided to continue with whatever he was saying, "Whatever, just take this flannel."

"For what?" I asked, tilting my head in confusion.

"You know, for that," he said, his eyes trained on the ground and his cheeks flushing, "I'll be going now," and with that, he dropped the flannel in my hands and fleed.

"Wonder why he gave me this?" I asked myself, scanning myself until I spotted it.

"Oh shit!" I quickly tied the flannel around my waist, thanking the gods silently for the unknown angel in disguise they sent me and racing towards the feminine hygiene products aisle.

(Present Thea) -

I woke up to my alarm feeling very well slept, the events of last night came crashing to my mind and I screamed into my pillow at my embarring behavior.

I'm practically drunk when in half a state of sleep and I basically had Chance carry me to my room like a baby.

I groaned once again and went to the bathroom.

I came out in my underwear and opened my closet door to search for something to wear. I wore a pair of white jeans and grabbed this blue flannel I've had since forever and tucked it in. I decided to style my hair in a half-up and half-down look and did a bit of makeup. Grabbing my bag and lacing up my doc martins I exited my room.

"Good morning Thea, breakfast is ready, I've made avocado toast and some fresh orange juice," Lexi smiled at me, setting the plates down on the counter.

"Good morning, Lex you know that you don't have to do this, right? I always feel like I'm taking advantage of your kindness," I tried to reason.

"Nonsense," she waved me off, "Besides, as I've told you before, I love to cook and I've always cooked for my family, I feel incomplete without it."

I huffed at her stubbornness while she grinned at me, sitting down on the chair, I took a bite of the avocado toast and as always, Lexi's cooking was amazing and it tasted heavenly.

We made conversation while eating and on our way to class until the bell rang.

Mark assigned us another assignment which made me realize that I still had to write my essay, anyway the new assignment was to capture photos using light to our advantage. I decided then and there that I was going to head out for the photos today.

Time flew and it was soon fashion design class,

I internally groaned when I saw Jonah already at our desk, waving at me with a taunting smirk. I glared at him as I sat down, not in the mood for his idiotic comments.

"Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today."

"Not today, Jonah."

"I'm tempted though."

He put his left arm on the table, a pencil in hand. His arm rubbed against mine since I was right-handed and he was left.

"Can you move your hand?" I grumbled trying to shove it aside but only a chuckle escaped his lips at my failed efforts as his hand remained at the spot.

"Move it yourself if you can, sweetheart," he teased, mischief prominent in his grey eyes.

Immediately, a fire lighted itself inside me since as a Taurus, I take everything as a challenge. A desire to prove him wrong grew in me and I instantly pushed aside his arm while he gawked at me in shock.

"You're strong for a girl."

There it was, the most hated phrase in existence.

"For a girl?" I deadpanned tilting my head, challenging him to continue.

"Well, men are stronger than women-" he started but I cut him off.

"Yeah, I get that. Scientifically, men are physically dominant in comparison to women, but is it necessary to say 'for a girl' like why can't people just praise us for our strength and stop there only," I huffed out.

He opened his mouth to reply but the teacher cut him off.

He didn't bother me the whole lesson and as soon as the bell rang, I stood up to go but he grabbed my wrist. I turned back to him.

"Yes?" I practically growled at him. I was angry, I hated sexism and he did just that.

"Look, my whole life I've been taught women are inferior to men and it's just embedded in my mind now but I'm sorry," he apologized and I don't know what it was but I forgave him, just like that.

Usually, I can keep grudges for a while but with him, I cracked.

Once I didn't talk to my brother for sixteen days straight when he told me off in front of his friends for a girl. I didn't like her since I'd seen how she treated people but he was so entranced by her that he ignored my disapproval. In the end, he broke up with her for me after we had a full-blown screaming match with me explaining her antics to him.

I softly smiled at Jonah and he smiled back.

"It's okay," I whispered, hypnotized by the colors of his stormy eyes.

He grinned, looking at me with so much adoration, one could mistake it for love. It was as if I was the only one who mattered to him. I shook my head, in an attempt to get rid of these thoughts.

"I'll see you later, then?" I mumbled.

"Of course," he smirked and I internally swooned.

What's wrong with me? I've never been like this. Am I catching feelings or something? I don't know what's happening, I've never liked someone, I'm pretty sure I even thought I was a lesbian at some point in my life. Do I like Jonah? I mean he is hot. But I've thought that plenty of people are hot and this doesn't mean I like him. But no one else makes you swoon like that, I mean yeah-

"You're blushing," Jonah cut my inner rambling off.

"Huh?" I looked at him, confused.

"You're blushing. May I ask why?" he said and my eyes widened.

"I'm not blushing!'

"Yes, you are."

"No, I'm not!"

"Why are you blushing?"

"I don't know!"

"So you admit that you're blushing," his smirk widened.

"No! Yes! Maybe...ugh, I'm going now," I grumbled and he laughed. I glared at him and left the class in a foul yet happy mood.

Textiles passed on quickly as usual and soon it was Arts, meaning I had to face Chance and after how I acted yesterday I was feeling beyond embarrassed.

He was not in class when I entered and I let out a sigh in relief.

"Hi, Thea."

I heard Chance say from being me and I jumped in fear with one hand resting on my chest and the other on a desk to balance myself.

"You scared me, you jerk!" I hit Chance with my bag while he laughed at me.

I sat down, pouting. I expected Chance to say something but when he didn't, I turned around to face and saw him staring at my flannel.

I snapped my fingers in front of his face and he came back to reality.

"Sorry, it's just that the flannel you're wearing looks really familiar," he pointed out with a finger on his chin and his eyes narrowed at the flannel as if it would attack him any second.

"You've probably seen it in shops or on people," I shrugged.

"No, it's something else."

"Well, think about it later, the class is starting."

"With this on my mind, I won't be able to focus anyway."

The professor then spoke, ceasing our conversation. I was super bored in class today, the lecture was all about the history and evolution of art and I hate history. I don't even know how I passed it with a 97 last year.

Chance and I decided to walk to our dorms together and in the midst of it, he suddenly stopped walking and jumped, pointing at me.

"I remember now! I gave you this flannel."

"Excuse me? We just met three days ago and I don't recall you ever giving me this, besides I've flannel since forever, it's one of my favorite tops actually."

"No, I gave it to you before like when we just randomly bumped into one another."

"Really? When?" I asked genuinely curious, honestly, I can't even when I got it so he could be right.

"You know that time in target..." He replied blushing and I looked at him questioning eyes, silently telling him to continue.

"Itwaswhenyougotyourperiodandyoudidn'tknowsoitleakedandthenigaveyoutheflannelto-
coveritup," Chance rushed out and gasped for breath, flushed while I stared at him with wide eyes, "I didn't wanna embarrass you but you asked so I-"

My laughing cut him off and now it was his turn to look confused.

"What's so funny?"

"You," I force out, clutching my stomach and trying to stop myself from laughing anymore.

"Me? Do I have something on my face?" he asked taking it his phone out to probably see his reflection for anything wrong.

"No, it's just you look like a confused puppy right now. I mean your cheeks are pink and you look so disheveled, it's amusing," I say, giggling.

"Oh."

"My stomach hurts from laughing now but back to the point, this is yours?" I point to the flannel.

"Yeah."

"So do you want it back or something...?"

"No, no you keep it, there's no point to take it back if you've had it for years and besides, it looks better on you than it probably ever did on me."

He smiled at me and I smiled at him back. We walked in silence until we eventually reached my dorm.

"So I'm gonna go take some photos after getting my camera, you wanna join me?" I invited him. I wouldn't mind the company.

"Sure, but I'm gonna change first."

"Of course! I'm going to change it too. You'll probably get ready before me so I'll leave the door open and you can wait in there, ok?"

He nodded and left for his dorm while I entered mine. Coming into my room, I closed the door and immediately tossed my bag to the side, quickly exchanging my pants for some jean shorts and the flannel for a white lace top.

I went into the bathroom and washed all my makeup off, settling for lip balm only. I grabbed my camera bag from the shelf and exited the room, tying my hair into a high ponytail at the same time.

Looking around, I saw that Chance was not here so I went to the fridge, grabbed two protein bars, and went towards the door. I opened the door and automatically took a step but bumped into something and fell on my butt.

I groaned aloud and look up to find Chance snickering at me and holding out his hand for me to take. I glared at him and stood up with his help.

"Why are you standing in front of my door like a stalker?" I demanded to know, slapping him on the arm.

"I didn't feel comfortable barging into your dorm so I decided to wait here," he explained rubbing his neck in a nervous manner.

"Ok then, let's go and by the way, you look hot," I said after taking in his attire. He looked good even in simple jeans, a white sweatshirt, and a pair of sunglasses on his head.

"Thanks, where are we going anyway?"

"Probably to the park, although we're going to go more towards the forest side of it."

"Ok, do you want to walk or take the car."

"Walk."

And we did, making slight conversation here and there.

When we were close, I jogged towards the trees and instantly spotted some squirrels taking a nap. I tried to get a good angle but I was too short.

"Need help?" Chance asked catching up to me.

"Yes, please," I sighed.

"Should I pick you up or what?"

"Bend down," I ordered and he did so without hesitating.

Smart boy.

I went behind him and sat on his shoulder and balanced myself.

"Am I too heavy?" I asked, my insecurities suddenly kicking in.

"No, not at all," Chance replied and I breathed out in relief.

"Ok, now stand up," I instructed and he slowly stood.

"Perfect!" I remarked and took some pictures.

Once I got an amazing shot, I squealed in excitement causing a squirrel to wake up. I guess it thought of me as a threat to its family because it jumped at me.

I screamed and tried to shake it off but the movement was too much for Chance so we toppled over.

But we were on a hill so we rolled down together.

I finally opened my eyes and saw Chance on top of me, his legs trapping my legs in between and each of his arms, next to my head.

It was a very compromising position.

Chance scrambled off me in a hurry, blushing and apologizing profusely.

I looked at his flustered self and laughed which caused him to break out in a grin and laugh as well.

Eventually, we calmed down and stood. I looked around for my camera and saw it still on top of the hill. Thankfully, it was unharmed. We continued to take more pictures and after I was satisfied with the results, we went back to our dorms.

"See you tomorrow?" I asked.

"See you tomorrow," he nodded in assurance and smiled.

I smiled back and went to my dorm, closing the door behind me.

._.

Hey guys! So sorry I haven't posted in a while. I actually write on my tablet and it's not working so I couldn't write. I finally decided to write on my phone but that was a struggle because the keyboard is so small compared to my tablet.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the chapter and I also hope that you guys are safe and healthy at home because of the coronavirus.

Also, this chapter is dedicated to DeathIsAUnicorn, Sarahsherebiotch, JoselynHernandez2015, and Llamalord161291 for taking the time to read and comment on my book! ❤

That's it for now.

Potato out.
