(I think I mentioned that I was skipping some episodes Each chapter, to move things along. I think I also want to do 2 seasons in one book if that makes sense, like in this story, I'll do season one and two, then , if I do end up doing a second book, it will have seasons 3 and 4 and so on,)
I'm so glad this story is getting attention! Please vote and comment what you think!! It means a lot to me! Anyway, on with episode 5!

As the car is parked, Sam is now in the front, asleep. Grayson has been brought to Bobby's.
The three Winchester's were parcels out Side a building.
"Sam, dude, wake up." Dean said.
Jolting up, Sam looked around confused.
"I take it I was having a nightmare?"
Danced nodded.
"Yeah, are you okay?" She asked. Poking her head in between the seat, as she was demoted to the back once they dropped her son off. "I'm okay." He said
"Man, you had another one."
Sam smiles, "hey, at least I got some sleep." He said.

"You know sooner or later we're doing to have to talk about this?" Dean said.
Sam, ignoring Dean asked,
"Where here?"
"Yep" the twins said together, then
Darcey continued for Dean
"Welcome to Toledo, Ohio"
Sam pulled up a news paper.
"What do you think happened to this guy?" Darcey asked her brothers. "That's what we're going to find out." Dean answers.

They got out of the car and made their way into the building.
Walking in the dark hall, Darcey moved a bit closer to Dean, not trusting the building. Coming up to a desk, a man says,
"May I help you?" A man asked
Dean replied
"Yeah, we're the med students."
The bald man looked at them confusingly.
"Sorry?"
"Oh, Doctor Feiklowicz didn't tell you?" Darcey said fake sadly.
"Yeah, we talked to him on the phone, we're from Ohio Stare. He's supposed to show us the Shoemaker corpse. For our paper" dean came up with.
The doctor sad back,
"Well he's at lunch, sorry"
"Oh, he said— we'll it doesn't matter, you don't mind showing us the body"
"Sorry, I can't do that. Doc will be back in a hour. You can wait until then, it you want to"
The guy said.
"An hour?" Darcey said looking to her brothers.
"We gotta be back to Columbus by then,"
Dean told him.
"Look, this player is half our grade so if you wouldn't mind helping us out—"
Darcey said trying to convince him,
"Look sweetheart, no." The bald man said.
Darcey's face changed to a scowl, she hated when guys called her that.
Dean turned to face his sister,
"I'm going to punch this guy in the face, I swear." He mumbled. Sam pushes his older siblings away.
He took out his wallet and pulled out a few bills.
Dean and Darcey shook their heads
'Unbelievable' she thought
The dude picked up the cash and led them to the body.
"That was my money!" Dean said to his sister.
"Dude, you won it in a poker game," Sam said.
Dean looked to Darcey, in hope she would back him up, but she shook her head and put her hands up, she did not want to get involved, they had other things to worry about.

"The news paper said that his daughter was the one to find him. She said his eyes were bleeding." Sam explains.
Standing in front of the covered body, the doctor talks
"More than that. They were practically liquefied."
Pulling the sheet up, he shows the Winchester's what he means.
Looking at empty eye sockets, Dean asked,
" any signs of struggle? Maybe some one did it to him?"
The doc replied "nope. Bedsides the daughter, he was alone"

"What's the official cause of death?" Darcey asked the mortician.
He sighed. "The Doc's not sure. He's thinking massive stroke, maybe an aneurysm. Something burst up in there, that's for sure" he finished.

Darcey was confused at his words, but Sam beat her to voicing her feelings.
"What do you mean?"

"Intense cerebral bleeding. This guy had more blood in his skull than anyone I've ever seen."

"But what would cause something like that, the eyes?" Darcey said

The coroner said,
"Capillaries can burst. A lot of bloodshot eyes with stroke victims."

"Oh yeah, you ever see exploding eyeballs?" Dean asked

"That's a first for me.but hey, I'm not the doctor."
Darcey then thought of something.
And as if her twin was thinking the same thing, he asked
" do you think we could take a look at the police report?"
"You know, for our paper?" Darcey finished.
Dean shot her a look before giving one of his famous smiles to guy.
"I'm not really supposed to show you that." The guy said.
'He wants more money' Darcey thought.
Taking out her own wallet, giving him a few more bills.
When they got the report, they made there way out.

"You know, might not be one of ours. Might just be some freak
Medical thing" Sam said as they made their way down some stairs.
"Yeah sure" Darcey said rolling her eyes.
"How many times In dads long career has it ever been a medical thing....and not some sign of awful supernatural death?" Dean asked back.
"Almost never" Sam answers.
"Exactly" Dean and Darcey say together. "All right." Sam said shaking his head.
"This twin thing you guys do is really getting old,"

Darcey smirked and looked to Dean,
"So are you Sammy,"
They said together again just to annoy him.
Groaning, he said
"Alrighty, let's just go talk to the daughter, freaky wonder twins."

The Winchester siblings get to the daughters house. A memorial is happening.
They awkwardly enter. In her ripped jeans and flannel shirt, she definitely felt judged.
With all eyes on them, she got nervous and hid more behind Dean, to hide herself from prying eyes and judging eyes.
" I feel underdressed," Dean said.
When they eventually made their way to the backyard, they approached three lady's sitting together.
"You must be Donna, right?" Dean asked the brunette.
"Yeah." She answered him.
When it was silent for more then two seconds, Sam spoke up.
"Hi. We're really sorry."
"Thank you."
"I'm Sam, this is Dean and Darcey" he continued.
Not knowing where he was going with this, Darcey gave a little wave.
"We worked with your dad." He ended up saying.
She could tell Donna was questionable about what he said but let them continue,
"You did?"
"Yeah, this whole thing....I mean, a stroke." Dean said,
The blond sitting beside her spoke up.
"I don't really think she wants to talk about it."
Darcey understood. After her mother's death, she didn't really speak to anyone but Dean, but even Dean ended not not speaking either.
"It's alight. I'm okay." Donna let them continue.

Getting right back into it, Dean asked.
"Were there any symptoms? Dizziness? Migraines?"

"No." She said.
The little girl that was sitting beside them with her back faced away from them turned around and said,
"That's because it wasn't a stroke."
Donna added."lily don't say that,"
"What?" Sam questioned
"I'm sorry. She's just upset. No sweetie it didn't."

Sam then crouched down to lily. Darcey looked to Dean who just shrugged his shoulders.
"Lily, why would you say something like that?" He asked the poor girl.
"Right before he died,
I said it."
Not knowing what she meant,
Sam pushes.
"Said what?"
"Bloody Mary. Three times in the bathroom mirror." the girl says." She took his eyes, that's what she does."
Donna then said,
"That's not why he died. This is not your fault."
Dean countered in his thought.
" your sister's right, Lily. There's no way it could've been Bloody Mary. I mean you dad didn't say it, did he?"
Lily said "no I don't think so."

Walking into the house once more, they go explore.
They walk down a hall and find a door to the washroom.
Creaking it open, they look around.
"The Bloody Mary legend. Did dad ever find evidence that it was a real thing?" Sam asked.
Darcey shook her head.
"Not that I know. You?" She said and turned to Dean.
"Nope"

Sam said bending down,
"All over the world, kids play Bloody Mary and as far as I know, nobody dies from it"

"Yeah, maybe everywhere it's a story, but maybe here it's actually happening." Dean thought out loud.
"A place where the legend started?" Darcey asked
"But according to the legend, the person who says you-know-what gets it.—"
"But here, Shoemaker gets it instead." Dean concludes

"Never heard anything like that before.still, the guy did die right In front of the mirror. And the daughter's right. The way it goes, you-know-who scratches your eyes out. "
Hearing the click of heals on hard floor.
Quickly getting out, the blond from earlier came up to them.
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
"We—we had to go to the bathroom."
The girl was not convinced.
"Who are you guys?" She asked
"Well like we said, we work with Donna's dad." Dean said To her.

"He was a day trader or something. He worked by himself." She said.
"No, I know. I meant—"
"And all those strange questions you asked downstairs, what was that?
So you tell me what going on or I start screaming." She threatened.
"Okay,"
"Alright, alright." The Winchester's begged.

Sam explains
"We think something happened to Donna's dad."
"Yeah a stroke"
"That's not the signs of a typical stroke. We think it might be something else."
The girl asked. "Like what?"
"Honestly," Darcey said,
" we don't know yet." Sam finished.
"But we don't want it to happen to anyone else. That's the truth."
"So if your gonna scream, go right ahead."
Instead, she gave up her threat. "Are you guys cops?"

Looking at each other, Dean said first,
"Something like that."
"Tell you what. Here. You think of anything, you or your friends notice anything strange, out of ordinary, just give us a call." Sam said, writing a number down.
He then handed it to her and walked away.

"Alright, say it's Bloody Mary, day she's really haunting this town. There has to be some proof, right?"
Darcey said to their brothers as they walked into a library to do Darcey's least favourite part of the job,
Research.
When it was just her and Dean, and sometimes their father, they made her do the reading work. She of course didn't mind reading and learning new things, but when your forced to do it because your brother is lazy and your father thinks he knows everything, it becomes less fun and more of a chore.
"Yeah, but something like this is hard. There's like fifty versions of who she is. One story says she's a witch, another says she's a mutilated bride. There's a lot more." Sam explains.
"Alright, so what do we have to look for.?" Dean asked.
"Well every version's got things in common." Sam starts.
"But it's always a woman named Mary and she always dies in front of a mirror." Darcey figures out.
Sam and Dean seem shocked,
"What, I can't be smart sometimes?" She asked offended.
"We got to search newspapers, public records, as far back as they go." Sam completes.
"And see if we can find the scary Mary that fits the bill." Darcey adds.
"Well that sounds annoying."  Dean said.
"Your just lazy," Darcey said. Crossing her arms.
"No, it won't be that bad," Sam tries.
Shaking her head, "yeah it will, you don't know Dean like I do, he hates research." She said.

"No seriously, it won't, as long as we...huh I take it back, this will be annoying," Sam says looking at the out of order computers.
"Very annoying" Darcey says.

In the motel, after the got as many records they needed, Darcey made a call to bobby.
"He's doing fine hun, just being his usual curious self." Bobby said on the other side of the phone.
Sighing, Darcey said.
"Good, good. Well just give him a hug from me, and tell him I miss him, I'm not sure how long until we wrap this case up, but I should be back to pick him up later this week."
"Alright hun.oh and one more thing,"
"What? What is it?"
She could hear bobby laugh, "remember to take care of yourself. Lord knows your taking care of everyone else except you, so just, take it easy will ya, ya idjit?"
Darcey laughed.
"Of corse Bobby, talk to ya later"
Handing up, she went back into the room. Dean was sitting at the motel table and reading records and Sam was asleep.
"Grayson doing okay?" Dean asked not looking up from the papers.
Sitting with him, she nodded and picked up one herself. "Yep. Bobby says he's doing fine. This has been one of the longest cases where  I've been away from him." She said. Slightly sad now thinking about not being with her son.
Dean actually looked up.
"Yeah, how are you doing with that anyway? I know with dad being, well, not here; is probably making you stressed. But not having Grayson is probably amplifying it." He said.
Darcey smiled.
"It's not helping. But having you here and not gone like they are makes it bearable." She said.
The twins then went back to their reading.

Suddenly, with a gasp.
Sam woke up.
They both looked over to their brother.
"Why did you guys let me fall asleep?" He asked.
Shaking her head, she went back to reading but before with out saying,

"Because we good siblings"

"Another nightmare? What's did you dream about this time?" Dean asked.

"Lollipops and candy canes." Sam said sarcastically.
"Yeah,sure." Darcey said.
"You find anything?" Sam asked.

"Oh, besides a whole new level of frustration,—"
"And annoyance,"
"No" the twins said.
"We've looked at everything." Darcey said.
She put the book she had down on the table and sat back against her chair and stretched.
"A few local women, Laura and Cathryn committed suicide in front of a mirror.
And a mirror fell on some guy named Dave, but, no Mary."
Dean said.

Sam sighed and lays back down.
"Maybe we just haven't found it yet."

"We also searched for strange deaths in the area. You know, like eyeball bleeding, that sort of thing. But there's nothing."
Darcey stood up.
"What ever it happening here, maybe just ain't a Mary" she said.

When a cellphone rings, Sam answers.
