(Ivan's POV)
'Are you sure you know the way? It feels like we've been going around in circles.'
'I'm sure it's around here. Can't you just fly up into the air? At least then we would have a better view.'
'What makes you think I can fly?'
'I thought you could control the wind?'
'I haven't tried flying.'
'That's like the only good thing about controlling the wind though.' Wind is good for other stuff too. I just couldn't think of any on the top of my head. Where the hell is this so-called underground city? Android said that Magebourne would be around here.
I start to walk around aimlessly until I walk past a Starbucks. I suddenly hear Android scream in my head. 'I remember now! Go across the street from the Starbucks and go into the dollar store. I do as he says but it just feels he is messing with me. How or why would an underground city be here?
'Okay where do I go now?'
'Go into the bathroom and go look at the corner.' I look around the store wonder why it's still open. Most businesses were closed at this hour. I look around the store and notice how much people were actually here. I use inspect on multiple people so that I can tell if the people here are normal people or if they were part of some cult.
When I checked I surprised to see that most people here were over level one hundred. I guess Android wasn't messing with me then.
'What the hell are you doing? You're just staring into space.'
'Don't worry about it.' I go into the bathroom and go to the corner of the room.
'What do I do now?'
'Look up and do you see the part of the wall that looks like it's about to break? Jump and try to touch it.' I look up and see the part of the wall he was talking about. The wall had some brown spots on it, and I think I see the imprint of a hand; it was going to be hard to reach since it was six feet above the ground. How the hell Am' I supposed to reach that? I can barely reach the middle part of the shelf. Should I try to use the wind to lift myself? Well I can't use Wind's Cannon since it would break something. Wind's Arrow? Wait no it would go through the wall.
'Oh, wait you can't reach. I forgot that part. Just take me out of the ring I will get it for you.' I feel my face turn red and I reluctantly take out Android. He walks up to the wall and he barely has to jump to reach the top part of the wall. When he does the wall lights up and the wall starts to open up. When the wall was done moving, I saw an elevator where the wall was supposed to be. Android turns to look at me with a cocky grin. Okay you don't have to brag about reaching the top part of the wall. I ignore him and walk inside the elevator. Inside the elevator there was only two buttons. One button had an arrow pointing down and the other pointing up. I decide to touch the button with the arrow facing down and I feel the elevator start to move.
I wonder if Android knows what the other button goes to? I turn to ask him the question, but he asks something before I can speak. 'In my room did you call me Android?' Fuck how do I explain that?
'I only called you that since I didn't know your name and it just came to mind.'
'Don't call me Android. My name is Anenoid.'
'Fine.' Well at least I know how to pronounce his name.
'You didn't tell me your name. What is it?'
'Ivan'. He nods and the elevator becomes quiet. After a few seconds, a box appears in front of me.

What did I lie about again? Before I could think about it the elevator finally stops and the door opens. When I step outside of the elevator I was instantly blinded by bright lights. I raise my right hand to block my eyes and my eyes slowly start to get use to the lights. I look around and unlike Chicago there were businesses still open. There were signs that would change colors and the there was still people walking. It was exactly how I imagined Las Vegas would be. I walk through the streets and I see all kind of stores. The shops had names like 'Normal Guns here' and '99-dollar store'. As I walk through the streets, I feel the hairs on the back of my neck rise. I look around and notice a lot of people staring at me. I ignore the feeling, but I walk a little bit more cautiously. As I walk, I see a box appear.

Lvl 1(3%) Blood Lust Detection- You ever feel like something was watching you, but you couldn't tell if someone or something was following you? This skill is basically that, but people want to kill you. Have fun if this activates.
I haven't even been here for five minutes and something already wants to kill me!? 'Hey Anenoid, I think something is following me. What should I do?'
'Run.'
'What a great plan.' I ignore his plan and decide to act like I didn't notice. I want to make sure I'm being followed and not being paranoid about someone really hating kids. I quickly enter a random store. I look around the store, to my surprise the place looked like a regular grocery store. What's the point of having a grocery store here when they could just go to the surface? I quickly go into one of the aisles. As I walk past the shelves, I see why there was a grocery store here. At first it was normal, there were the normal snacks like Snicker Bars and Doritos. When I started to reach the very back of the store I see weed flavored chips and there was even some food that's main reason to exist is to drug people.
I wonder around random aisles and a box appears in front of me.

I pretend to look interested in something. As I was stood still, I checked what was following me. When I looked though, I saw that no one was behind me. What the hell? There is no one following me, are they using Soul? I walk away from the aisle and out of the store. As I walk out of the store, I hear Anenoid talk to me. 'Aren't we supposed to be buying a place to live in? I could tell you wh-'
'SHUSH. There is someone following me.' I walk on to multiple streets until I reach a place called 'Religion Battles!' I stop walking and I turn to stare at the name.
'Anenoid. What is this place?'
'Just a place where people debate which religion is the best. Don't go inside it though. The place doesn't really welcome demigods. Well they do, but you got to be a demigod from the religion they like. Just stay away from this place.' I start to walk away but I'm suddenly grabbed from the arm. I look up and see a middle-aged man smiling at me. We stay like that for a few seconds, I try to take my hand out of his grip. He tightened his grip on my hand. I decide to break the silence after a few seconds of us staring at each other.
"Can I help you? I'm kind of have to go somewhere." He leans in until he was a few inches away from my face.
"Are you a demigod? I don't feel any Soul coming from you." I hear Anenoid shout 'SAY NO!'
"I'm not a demigod. I just barely know how to use Soul. Can you let me go now? That would be nice." He ignores me and he puts his other hand on my other shoulder. His smile begins to widen even more. Why do I feel like I'm about to be killed? Oh, right because I'm probably about to be killed. In a matter of seconds, I get lifted up into the air and I dropped to the ground.
I try to get up, but my stomach starts to hurt. I bend over and throw up. As I was throwing up, I hear a "Oh god that's disgusting." I use Gamer's Mind to stop the pain. I finally stopped vomiting and I get up. When I stood up, my vision started to blur and I felt my body start to sway from side to side. In my blurry vision I see a figure start to walk towards me. I see the figure holding something in its hand. I see the figure raise point it straight at me and I feel my right shoulder start to tingle. I don't know why but I decide to jump to the side. When I do I see the figure start to rush the place where I was. Was that my new perk activating? I thought it would feel different.
I land on the floor with a thud and my vision slowly comes back to normal. I get up and I look around. I see the figure turn around and I see that we were on top of a building. How the hell did I get here? I look at the figure and see that it was a woman in all black clothing and the object she was holding in her hand was a katana. I look at her face only to see red eyes looking at me. When I looked at her face, I had the feeling she was either from Asia or Korea. What the hell did I do to you? I take out my katana and I point it at her.
"What the hell! What did I ever do to you?" Shortly after I said this she looks down at the ground with a grim look on her face.
"I'm sorry it's not anything you did. I just really need the money." What kind of response was that!?
"I'm sorry I don't have money on me. Why would you rob a kid anyway?" Hopefully she was just robbing me and not planning to sell my organs. She lets out a sigh and she starts to look for something in her pocket.
"I'm not planning to rob you." Alright what's the catch? "I plan on selling you to some people as a slave. Demigods sell for a high price here." That's even worse than selling my organs!
I try to think of a way to escape but I couldn't think of any. I guess I have to stall somehow. "Before I'm sold off can you at least tell me your name?" Before she responded I used Inspect on her.
Jana Saxe- Lvl 87
Part time Assassin
Jana Saxe is a part time assassin except she doesn't really assassinate people since she doesn't like killing people. However, she does sell people as slaves. She only sells slaves since she somehow convinces herself that they will escape somehow. Deep down she knows she ruined that person's life and feels guilty about it. Her main reason for her selling people is for her sister, Kinsey Saxe. Her sister is currently in Mercy Hospital with Pancreatic Cancer. She needs the money to pay for her medical bills. Other than that, she tries to blend in at school as a normal girl. Her primary Soul ability is to create illusions. Her second Soul ability is that she can see trail of where her target went.

When I read it, she responded, "You don't need to know that." Well so much for stalling. I think of a few ways of how I can get out of this situation. As I was thinking I think about her sister. What if I use that information against her? I stop thinking after I got an idea on how to make her leave me alone.
'Anenoid when I summon you, I want you to jump off the building and run away from here.
'What about you?' '
I got a plan don't worry about it.' She starts to point her katana at me again; I feel the tingle in my body again except this time it was in the middle of my chest. I take a step back and begin my plan.
"You know it would be sad if your sister had someone after her right now. She would have no way to defend herself in Mercy Hospital. She would die immediately." When I said this a box appeared in front of me. Shit not right now! I think of it going away and the box disappeared. I see her face quickly go to a 'I will kill you face'. I raise my hand and quickly summon Anenoid and yell, "Quickly! Jump!" Anenoid jumps off the building.. Jana ignores me and she jumps off the building.
I look around the building and see how high we really were. To my surprise Anenoid wasn't even near the ground. I back away from the edge.
"How do I get down?"

(Anenoid's POV)
As I was falling down, I wonder, what the hell was he thinking? He is going to get absolutely rekt by her. I turn my head and I see her following me. Why. I guess he predicted this. That damn bastard! I look back down and I barely fell past half of the building. How high did they make this building?! I mutter a spell and a huge hand came out of the shadows. I try to see where the shadow was coming from, but I couldn't see it. The hand grabs me in mid air and it pulls me to the ground. The hand puts me in an alley. I look back and see the girl stab her katana into the building; her katana stops her and she hangs off the hilt. I call bullshit. I turn around and start to run.
Where should I go? To the surface? Well my first priority is to make some distance between Ivan and her. I run around aimlessly until I see her appear a few inches in front of me. I reach for my sword and remember that Ivan had it. Fuck! Without thinking I raise my fists and try to punch her in the neck. Instead of my fist giving me that satisfying smack it goes through her. What the fuck! I stumble forward, I see her stand in front of me with her katana raised. I quickly mutter a spell and I get absorbed into her shadow.
Without hesitation she looks at the ground and looks at her shadow. She stabs her shadow and I feel my arm get stabbed. I jump out of her shadow and I use a spell. A few shadows come from the nearby alleys come out and pin her down. I go in for a punch to the stomach. I feel my hand connect and she spits out some saliva. I was about to raise my foot to kick her, but I suddenly see her appear to my side. She tries to stab me in the side of my stomach, but I was able to jump back and land on my feet. I see rush towards me, and I roll to the side. I look back at the shadows that were supposed to be pinning her down. When I looked, she was gone. How did she get out?
I look back at her and this time she decides to stay away from me for a little bit. I look around, i see alley I can run into; I could use the shadows to escape. That sounds like a good enough plan for me. I slowly back away from her. Out of nowhere she dashed towards me. I predict where she was going to stab me. I take a massive risk and I grab her blade. When I grabbed her blade, I expected my fingers to start bleeding or you know be chopped off. Instead her blade went through my hand and went into my chest. Even then I didn't start bleeding. I just felt normal. However, quickly after I got stabbed, I get stabbed in the back.
She disappears instantly and I turn my head. I see her standing behind me and she pulls out her katana,starts to stab me in the stomach and chest. She stops and with my remaining energy I mutter, "I was just a distraction. He is already at the hospital." Every single word felt like torture. Why do I still need to feel pain? "Your sister is probably already dead." Her face quickly shows worry, she quickly drops her katana and starts run off at what I assume is her top speed.
I fall down on my back. When I landed, I felt like my back was wet. Oh boy I'm about to die for the second time this week. I see people step over me. Oh yeah, I forgot, someone dying in the streets is normal in this city. Ivan better have escaped. I wonder if he knows I will get absorbed back into the ring. I think about it for a little bit and that only leads to another question. How did he know about her sister? I have to ask him later. I lay there as I feel my blood slowly start to leave my body. Before I died, I think about telling him about telling about my old boss, Nuxiel. Maybe Nuxiel would recruit him? I better get a promotion when I bring Ivan to Nuxiel. With those last thoughts I feel my body dissolve, and I quickly get absorbed back into the ring.

(Ivan's POV)
I look over the edge again looking for some kind of way to get down. I wonder how Anenoids doing? I scan the edge and I see a window I can climb into. Finally! I vault over the ledge, I slowly bring my legs over the ledge so that I can hand off the side. There was only two problems though. I'm not strong enough to support my own body. At first it was fine I checked the window and it was unlocked. Good enough right? Wrong! I looked down and I kind of panicked. My hands started to become sweaty and soon I lost my grip. My body dropped. It happened to quickly for me, my body flails around in the air. There was no way for me to control my body.
As I fell down, I feel panic rise in my chest. Okay just stay calm. I try to remember everything I learned, but everything I did learn was useless in this situation. After realizing this I felt tears forming in my eyes. I close my eyes and accept death, until I remembered that Anenoid asked if I could fly. I open my eyes and I think about a constant gust of wind going around my body and carrying it. Surprisingly it worked. My body stopped flailing around, and I looked at the ground only to see that it didn't appear to be getting closer to me.
I feel my mouth turn into a huge grin. I start to think about the wind slowly moving me to the ground. As I was descending, I thought, 'Holy shit! That worked! Thank god!' After what felt like hours, I finally reached the ground. When my feet touched the ground, I felt the panic in my chest go away. Where should I go from here? I start to walk around aimlessly until my ring glowed a bright yellow and I heard Anenoids voice in my head. 'So, what went on when I was gone?'
'I fell and I think I learned how to fly.'
'Good job! Now you should probably start running, I don't know if the girl is running to kill you or if she stopped.'
I quickly start to run, as I was running I asked, 'Do you know where the elevator is? I forgot.' I hear him laugh and he starts to give me directions to the elevator.
We eventually get to the elevator and when we were back up, I decide to head back to Dominique's place. In the middle of running to Dominique's apartment a few boxes appear in my face. I put it aside for later as I was too mentally tried to read it. I got to Dominique's door, I try to open the door. but it was locked. Fuck! Let me in! I want to be under the blankets! I step back and I sigh. I wonder if the floor is comfortable. When I was on the ground, I heard Anenoid's voice, 'Hey summon me I can easily get you in.' I let Anenoid out and he wraps his arm around my torso. He walks up to the door and mutters a few words. Instantly we shrunk and we start to move. What the hell did Anenoid just do? I tried to move my body, but I couldn't, it felt like my body was going through water.
When we were inside, we go back to normal size; a box appear in front of me.'Fuck off.' I put it aside for later. I put Anenoid back into my ring and I run up to the couch and jump on it. I pull out a blanket from my Inventory and I close my eyes. Before I could lose consciousness, I hear Anenoid begin to ask me something. 'How did you know about the girls na-' I quickly get irritated from him stopping me from sleeping. As he was talking I take off the ring and put if in my Inventory. I quickly lose consciousness and drift off to sleep.
