Lost,
I'm so lost right now and I don't know what to do with myself.
What do i do just wait?
Overthink those words he said over and over again in this uncompleted house alone?
It doesn't make any sense to me, yes i had my doubts but I never expected for him to just take off like that.
On top of this in only five days I would be performing in front of thousands of people,
Would he be back by then? He promised
My thoughts began to consume me,
i tried to read, but small sentences made me think of him.
After showering, painting my nails, playing my ukulele and speaking on the phone to Jayden i couldn't stand being alone anymore,
I packed a quick bag, grabbed a jacket sliding it on, slipping into my vans and walking out of the door my phone in hand.
The lights came on as i walked down the path soon fading and coming onto the sidewalk the moonlight lighting my way,
My hands stayed deep in my pockets clutching tight onto a key for safety, i hated being out alone especially at night.
A crunch came from behind me causing me to pick up my pace,
By the time I reached the door, i was panicking i knocked loudly not caring about the time.
Hayden opened the door his brows furrowed
"Annie what's wrong are you okay? Come in" he stepped aside ushering me inside
I stepped inside the house that no longer felt like my home, i walked into the living area only to halt.
A girl sat on the sofa
"I didn't realise you had company im gonna go" I rushed my words turning on my heel and heading towards the door.
I successfully made it outside and a set off down the sidewalk only for hayden to catch my arm spinning my around
"Annie! What's wrong" his voice softened and i felt the tears now rolling down my cheeks
"He left" i sob and his face contorts into a confused expression
some may say im being overdramatic but everyone in my life has left me i dont remember the last person who hasn't fucked off.
"Who?" He asks then realisation washes over his face "oh annie" he sighs and pulls me into a tight hug,
I melt into his arms the bag in my hands dropping to the floor as i hug him back crying into his chest.
