The tears you held in for so long finally poured out. You watched your long time crush and best friend walk in hand and hand with another girl to the next class. After seeing that, you went to the nearest bathroom to cry your eyes out.
It took you a whole 20 mins to calm yourself down. You knew he liked this girl, why are you being so emotional? Stop it ___. You are being a baby. Just face him and be over with it.
You stood up and went to the sink. Washing your tear-stained face. After that you went out but as soon as you went out, you saw San waiting for you.
He wasn't waiting alone. The girl that stood shorter than him with him holding his hand. Rosie was her name.
"San why are waiting here?" She asked San.
"Baby I need to introduce you to my long time best friend ___. Some people saw her ran to the toilet, so let's just wait okay?" The girl nods. You could see the jealousy laced eyes in her.
You wanted to sneak away from San and Rosie but...
"___!" San calls out. Shit.
"Are you okay? Some people say they saw you running in the bathroom with tears running down your face. They also said you have been in there for 20 mins."
"I-Im fine San."
"Okay. Meet Rosie, she's my girlfriend." He enthusiastically says.
"Hi ___." She says with a forced smile. You rolled your eyes. You were lucky San didn't see but Rosie did.
"Sannie, she rolled her eyes at me."
"I didn't you must be seeing things honey." You say defending yourself.
"___ be nice to her." Oh so he was taking sides now.
"Alright. Well I have to go, you should take your girlfriend around to her class." You walked away before San could say anything.
"Hey." A deep voice errupts you jump.
"Jesus Mingi a little warning."
"Sorry, so you good. I mean you just got your heart broken." You slap his arm.
"Oh shut up. How's it going with you and your little crush."
"She dump me but meh I don't feel anything."
"Well that girl just lost a sweet guy like you."
"And San just lost a hot girl like you." He flirts.
"Psshh shut up Mingi. Let's get to class." The both of you walk to class.
"Can I seat with you? I don't really feel like sitting next to San right now." Mingi nods. San walks in with Rosie.
"Oh god, they are in the same class." You whisper to mingi.
"Time to hear all those 'baby i want kisses' talks." Mingi whispers back. You add a fake gag at the end and sent you and Mingi to fits of laughter.
"Hey ___, can Rosie sit at your place? Since you are sitting next to mingi."
"Sure she can have it. I will be sitting here now."
"Okay..."
Lesson starts and you feel a tap on your shoulder.
"Yes?"
"Why are you giving me the vibe you are ignoring me?"
"I don't know." You turn back to concentrate on the lesson. Mingi beside you places a hand on your thighs(not in a sexual way) to comfort you. You smiled weakly, somehow a tear dropped again.
"Hey you are going to be fine ___. Be strong. Show him what you don't have." Mingi encourages you.
"You are never liked this Mingi." You giggle a little.
"Can't I comfort you. I just feel bad you know."
"You can, thanks Mingi." He reaches forward to wipe the tear on your cheeks. You blush at the contact and looked forward to prevent Mingi from seeing your flushed cheeks.
The lesson ends and you walk the whole the day with Mingi. Ignoring anytime San tries to talk to you.
"Hey wanna have ice-cream?" Mingi suggests. You nod. You hear someone calling out your name and you knew who it was but you ignored it and walked with Mingi.
"This is my favourite shop to go to get the best ice cream." Mingi shows the place.
"Wow, it's a cute shop."
"Well my aunt designed it."
"Your parents own this shop?" He shakes his head.
"Not really, my aunt does but she's out of town doing other businesses." You nod and walk in the store with Mingi.
"Mingi you are back. Oh I see you brought ___ here. I have been wanting to see her."
"Mom can we get two cups of ice cream, you know what I want. ___ what do you want?"
"Just vanilla."
"Toppings for you kids?"
"It's fine mom."
"I want gummy bears." Mingi's mom nods and proceeds to make the ice cream. The both of you take a seat.
"The design of this shop is pretty cute. I like it." You smile looking at the interior.
"Why look at the interior when you have me." You threw a straight and blank face at Mingi.
"Really?"
"Again trying to make you feel better." You giggle.
"Fair enough." The bell chimes as someone walks through the door.
"___." You turn the person. It was San.
"What are you doing here."
"I called you just now. It happens you didn't hear me."
"Well why are you here?"
"I needed to know if you were avoiding me? What did I do so bad that you are acting like this."
"I'm not going to tell you San you should figure it out on your own."
"That's why I'm here." He walks up and stands in front of you. "What did I do ___." You stood up.
"Look San I really don't want to fight now."
"Well I still want to know!"
"San."
"___." You sigh.
"I'm sorry San, I think it's really the best if you don't find out."
"Why?"
"You will hate me if I tell you."
"No I wont, we have been friends for so long."
"Do you really want to know?"
"Yes now tell me."
"I like you." You blurt out.
"What?"
"I like you." You say it louder.
"That's not possible ___."
"What's not possible? The both of us falling in love? Cause that's clearly possible in my book. I fell for you San do you hear that?"
"You can't fall for me ___, I have girlfriend already. You even encouraged me to get with her."
"Yes I did but I secretly didn't like that you liked another girl. It hurt San."
"Well we still can't like each other. I have someone."
"I know now can you please just go. Me and Mingi are having a peaceful time here."
"Oh so now you are with Mingi."
"So what if I did, I think me and Mingi go way better than I am with you!"
"Wow ___. I never thought you would be like this."
"Leave San just go I don't wanna see you ever again."
"I will have fun with your new boyfriend." San leaves. The door slams hard.
"Don't listen to him ___." With those words your tears fall hard again. Mingi panicks and sits next to you to hug your side.
"Uhh uhh I'm not good at comforting people who cry, ___ I'm sorry." Your head still down you say.
"I-Its fine Mingi. Just bring me home." Mingi's mom hands the ice cream to mingi.
"She needs this. Mingi if you have to stay by her side all night, you can go ahead. She needs someone right now."
"Thanks mom."
Mingi holds you on one hand and the other with the ice cream.
"Piggy back me if you need more hands to hold the ice cream." You say.
"Alright. Here hold this." He carries you on his back and you hand the ice cream to him.
"I'm sorry if I'm too heavy." He chuckles.
"It's okay, you aren't too heavy. I needed to lift weights anyways."
"Screw you." He chuckles again.
"Sleep. Its quite a walk to your house anyways." You nod.
After about 10 mins, Mingi arrives in front of your house. Your parents were not home as they had a business to attend to in Hawaii. You were sure it's just an excuse to get some rest.
Your brother however was home.
"Mingi, what happened to ___." Changbin asks.
"Oh just San problems don't worry I was there. They just argued and now they aren't exactly friends anymore." Changbin sighs.
"I could stay but Felix needs me."
"And for what?"
"Ehem umm rap practice?"
"Totally believable bin. Have fun." He lightly slaps Changbin's arms.
"So you and my sis huh."
"Funny. We are just friends now go to your horny ass boyfriend."
"Alright. Don't do anything to harm her or your dead meat."
"Got that." Changbin leaves the house. You wake up.
"Did bin just leave?"
"Yeah, he needs to do something with felix." Mingi awkwardly says.
"I already know what bin is doing. Felix is just stressed out you know. It's exam period for him so he needs some help." You say.
"Do you know what it actually means right."
"Of course, you don't wanna know what I walked into."
"Did they f*** in front of you?"
"No! They madeout. I mean I'm not surprised and it's kinda cute seeing my brother and Felix having some quality time but really in my room? Making out. Why there?" You groan thinking about that time.
"Well I think they honestly don't care where they are."
"But why my room. His room was wide open without anyone."
"Maybe he happened to sleep there while you were out."
"Nevermind I'm not going to think about the possibilities." You sit up and sigh.
"I just wanna know what is going to happen to me and San. I mean I did just tell him I don't wanna see him, I'm going to see him everyday cause we have the same classes."
"Don't worry ___ I'm here." He smiles as he took a seat next to you.
"Thanks mingi."
"So wanna binge watch some dramas until 2am?"
"Your on."
That night you forgot all your worries. Having fun with Mingi really made you feel better. The next thing you did was wake up at 8am. You look around and see the snacks on the table, you turned to your side and see mingi's head laying on your shoulder. You smiled to yourself.
"Hey dummy wake up." You flicked mingi's forehead. He groans.
"Ouch you and San have such strong finger flicks." Your smile drops.
"Sorry." Mingi apologises after he realise what he did.
"It's fine. I should honestly forget about him and pretend I never had that crush on him."
"That's good. Umm you should go bathe."
"You too stinky." You ran away to prevent from getting chased by Mingi.

"Damn." You hear Mingi say. "What's with the special occasion."
"I wanna be myself. No more girly ___."
"So when you were with San you werent yourself?"
"Personality wise I was myself but the outfit nope. I loved wearing dark outfits more than pastel."
"Your gonna snatch my heart if you wear this."
"Maybe I will who knows." You wink. "Let's go."
You wore outfits like this ever since you and San never talked again. You always caught San looking at you whenever you and Mingi chatted but you played it off. A month passed and you still haven't talked to San.
"Hey ___." Seonghwa waves.
"Hwa haven't seen you in a while." You smile.
"Well I'm a senior in this school duh."
"But our group used to hand out so much."
"Yeah I know been busy you know, Hongjoong too."
"Still haven't confessed to him?"
"Already did a month back."
"And?"
"We are dating." You jump and squeal.
"Yay my parents are finally dating!" Seonghwa chuckles.
"What about you and San?"
"Oh we haven't talked ever since we fought."
"He broke up with his girlfriend."
"Why I thought he desperately loved her?"
"I don't know." You were chatting with Seonghwa until Mingi taps your shoulder.
"Hey min-what is he doing here."
"You two should settle this."
"But mingi-"
"Settle this or else I'm going to cut your teddy." You gasp.
"You wouldn't." He holds your teddy bear out and a pair of scissors.
"Oh I would, now you two settle this!" You and San walk in silence to find a quiet spot to chat. You make it to the rooftop.
"So...umm I'm sorry for being so rude about your crush on me. It never crossed my mind you would like me." San says.
"It's fine San. I forgave you a long time ago. I couldn't stay mad, we have been friends for so long. I just should kept my feelings to a minimum since I knew you liked Rosie."
"No ___ you should have told me about it. Then maybe I would have thought it through and not date Rosie."
"What do you mean?"
"I broke up with Rosie because I realised I have feelings for you. Whenever I see you with Mingi, I just get so jealous. I even question if it's right to fall for even if it looks like you have feelings for Mingi."
"Me falling for Mingi? You have to be kidding me. San, he came out to me the other day. He is bi and he already developed a crush on Yunho."
"Oh? So I have a chance?"
"I don't know." You fold your arms and smirk.
"Will this change your mind?" San kisses your lips. You felt like you were on cloud 9. Your crush finally kissed you. When San pulls away, your cheeks were flushed.
"I-I..."
"No need to say anything cutie. I get the note, you still like me." He winks and proceeds to hug you. You whine into his chest.
"So can we go back to being friends and also will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes San I will." He leans to peck your lips to which you smiled after.
