i arrived at my house, still waiting for a text from an anonymous number.
i walked through the front door, seeing lydia, viviana, and madeline, all cuddled on the couch, watching a movie.
none of them noticed me, so i snuck around to my room.
i jumped up and fell on my bed, staring at my ceiling.
continuing to wait for that text.
my eyes grew heavy, i kicked off my shoes and put on some comfy clothes.
i brought my blankets over me and cuddled into my bed, quickly dozing off.

noen's pov.
it was 2 am. i stared at my phone, with a subtle "hey" typed in. i was trying to convince myself to message charmaine.
did hey seem to needy? or too ignorant? would she even respond?
i snapped myself out of my stupid thoughts, and sent the "hey."
i turned off my phone and tossed it down beside me.
i sat up and ran my hands through my hair.
there's something off about charmaine. she's too perfect.
perfect smile, perfect hair, perfect body, everything about her is angelic.
