Hello! Bry here. Thank you for reading this fanfic and I hope you enjoyed💕. I thought I'd do one last update full of references, scrapped ideas etc. Before I continue writing the alt version of this story (Queen)
To start off with, let's talk about Ozzy, my hetro ass boy.
Here's Ozzy's hipster looking ass, of course during the events of this story he looks less like a hipster with his octoling armor and octoshot.
Kinda spoilers here but, Ozzy will end up in Inkopolis eventually. I'll probably write a whole fanfic about that one day. And this is what he looks like once he gets there, he becomes a hipster lmao.
(Also it's very obvious but Ozzy has a crush on Callie ;))
Ok, some outfit references. Callie's traditionally kimono is actually Korean based not Japanese based.
I'll leave a reference here:
I wanted it to be Korean based to create a contrast between Callie and Marie as Marie's kimono is Japanese based.
The outfit Callie wears or the mall, with the long pink coat, is based off that concept art of her.
The outfit she buys as the mall doesn't really need a reference as it's quite simple and easy to imagine as it's just a pink jumper and an octo spin, kinda like the splatoon pin in game but octo shaped.
And of course, of 'stage outfit' is just her octo outfit that's shown in game.
Alright, scrapped ideas!!
-Ozzy & Callie were originally gonna date, and Ozzy was gonna go back to inkopolis with Callie at the end.
-Callie was originally gonna have a huge concert with backup dancers, lights, everything, on a huge stage without Octavio. Involving songs I listen to in real life that I thought would fit. She was gonna go fully solo but, after thinking of the alt story, I scrapped it and may reuse it for that ;)
-I think Octavio was gonna get killed at some point.
-When Ozzy breaks Callie out the cabin, there was originally gonna be a huge fight scene and Marie was gonna end up in hospital.
-Callie was originally actually gonna go to Inkopolis and slowly recover memories as she recognised ares. She was gonna find Marie and her head explodes, fully remembering, instead of being held captive in the cabin and listening to Calamari Inkantation.
-Agent 3 was gonna show up and save the day in the final boss, however, I'm saving agent 3 for the alt story ;)
