The boys walked into the building, immediately heading toward the front desk. They were at the headquarters of their label for their scheduled meeting. Immediately, the lady who sat at the desk looked up, smiling widely at them.

"Meeting?" She asked, already aware of what was going on. She's seen the boys come in for meetings a lot for several years, so it was safe for her to assume it. They all nodded at her and she began typing away into the computer. As soon as she hit enter, she nodded at them to signal that they were free to go. The boys thanked her as they headed toward the direction of the meeting hall.

Once they entered, there were a few people seated at the long, brown, oval table. They became the center of attention when they came into sight.

"Ah, my favorite boys," a woman smiled, rising to her feet. Quickly, the boys shuffled over toward them, taking a seat on the vacant spots. "Glad you can make it."

"Wouldn't miss it for the world," Jesse said, smiling. The rest of the people laughed softly as well as the guys.

"Well, now that we're all here," one of the men in fancy black suits said, his voice deep. "I think it's time we get started." With that being said, the meeting began as it was dragged out throughout the afternoon.

"And that concludes the meeting," one of the men said, smiling. "We hope you continue to grow with the label."

"We'll do our best," Mitchel nodded as he smiled softly. As everyone said their goodbyes, the guys exited the room. Each of them let out a soft breath.

"Thank God that's over with," Christian sighed as he rolled his eyes. The others nodded in agreement, all knowing what the other was thinking. They all hated meetings with a passion, but they tried their best to look as interested as possible. Even if they disliked sitting in a room for over an hour with nonstop talking going on, they still managed to take in the information they were given.

"You guys wanna go eat?" Clinton asked, playing with the keys in his hand. The other boys looked at each other before nodding. Soon enough, they all began to make their way outside of the building and piled into the car.

As they drove to a restaurant around town, Clinton blasted some songs on the radio. The car ride had some conversation going on, but for the most part, there was silence. They were all too occupied with their phones.

Mitchel was staring out of the window, leaning his head against it as he zoned out. He felt exhausted after the meeting, and all he wanted to do was go home, drink a little bit of beer, and knock out. However, he couldn't pass up the chance to get food. As he lost himself in his thoughts, the guys began to talk to each other. All Mitchel could hear was them talking, not the actual words leaving their mouths.

"Mitty," Jesse said, not catching Mitchel's attention immediately. "Mitchel. Earth to fucking Mitchel!" He added as he raised his voice. The braided boy turned around and looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"What?"

"You good?" The drummer asked, concern laced in his voice.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why?" Mitchel asked in return.

"You just look so... tired," he shrugged once he found the word he was looking for.

The braided boy let out a soft chuckle. "Well, I am." He turned his attention away from Jesse once more, silence lingering throughout the car as they drove to a restaurant.

"Hey," Reese whispered, staring at the pavement in front of her as she held her phone between her shoulder and ear.

"You're still up at this time," Mitchel commented, a soft chuckle escaping his lips as he sat on his bedroom floor.

"Yup," the brown eyed girl smiled, looking up at the stars. "But what's up?"

"Do you want to come over?" The braided boy asked hesitantly, unsure if his question was a little weird to her or not. "I mean, just to hang out. Nothing weird."

Reese pondered for a moment, thinking if it was a good idea to go over or not. It was pretty late after all. It took her a while to finally decide on what she should do.

"Yeah," she replied with a soft breath. "I'll be over in a few."

Hearing those words caused a soft smile to creep onto Mitchel's face and his heart to jump in his chest. With that, he decided to wait for her downstairs as soon as they hung up, just so nobody else in the house would get woken up. He was aware it hasn't been a full day since she was over, but he already missed her. It was as if he couldn't go very long without hearing from or seeing her.

Realizing this immediately, Mitchel froze. He had no idea why he was feeling this way toward her. The smile on his face faltered slightly at the thought.

He knew it was typically a good thing to start liking someone, but the fear of her not feeling the same suddenly rushed through his body. Of course, he's been rejected before, but he just feels like it'd be different if Reese were to reject him. The braided boy started to pinch his lips softly in panic, a familiar habit he does when he's nervous.

After a long fifteen minutes of thinking, Mitchel's phone beeped, startling him. Seeing Reese's name pop up on his screen forced him to push his thoughts aside. It was best if he thought about this later.

Reeses Pieces
i'm here. didn't want to ring the door bell since the others are probably asleep.

Quickly, the boy made his way over to the front door, unlocking it before swinging it open. Reese's eyes shifted over to look at him, making eye contact. A soft smile spread across her face when she saw the familiar boy's face, his braids falling in front of his eyes.

Mitchel stepped aside to let her in. "I'm glad you're here."

"Why?" Reese asked, turning to look at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"Well," the Australian chuckled nervously as he tried to come up with an answer that didn't sound desperate. "I don't really have a good answer without it being weird." He admitted with a sigh. The small girl chuckled at him.

"It's okay. I'm glad you invited me," she nodded. Reese took a seat on the couch, plopping down with a soft breath escaping her lips.

"Do you want any water?" Mitchel asked, walking over to the kitchen. Reese hummed before responding.

"Water, thank you," she smiled.

As soon as Mitchel walked back into the living room, he handed her the cold glass and took a seat next to her. He reached for the remote on the table and pressed the power button, making the television screen come to life.

"Sorry for deciding to invite you out of the house so late," he started, speaking up after a moment of silence. "Hope I wasn't a bother."

"It's alright," the brown eyed girl shrugged, setting the glass on the table gently. "I was bored anyway."

"Well, here we are now," Mitchel chuckled. "Being bored together."

"It's always better having company," Reese shrugged softly. Mitchel couldn't help but agree.

Mitchel flickered through the channels, sighing from time to time when there was nothing good coming on. He finally decided to turn on Netflix, hoping to find something good there. Reese sat silently besides him, staring at the screen absentmindedly.

After moments of searching, the braided boy finally decided on Criminal Minds. He hoped Reese wouldn't mind. His eyes shifted over to look at her after pressing play, noticing her looking lost in thought.

"You okay?" He asked, breaking her away from her thoughts. She raised her eyebrows softly and nodded at him.

"Yeah, perfectly fine," she yawned. "Just a little tired, but I'll be fine." Mitchel nodded and turned his attention back to the screen.

About an hour and a half into the show, Reese was passed out against the braided boy's chest as he continued to watch, forcing himself to stay awake. Reese had her arm hanging off of the couch, barely touching the ground. Sighing, Mitchel decided it was time to sleep. He paused the show, turned off the TV, and looked at Reese's face through tired eyes. As he admired her relaxed state, he caught himself beginning to smile as he softly caressed her hair. Sleep was quickly taking over, and as much as he didn't want to get up from the couch, he knew he had to get them up to his room somehow.

Slowly, he started to push himself up from the couch, causing Reese to shift. Luckily for him, she didn't wake up. A soft, shaky breath left his lips as he managed to free himself from being under her. He carefully began to carry her bridal style. To his surprise, she stayed asleep through it all.

As he made his toward his bedroom, he smiled once more as she rested her head against his chest, soft snores being heard from the brown eyed girl. He looked at her adoringly as he set her down on his bed. It was almost as if nothing mattered to him if she was there. Reese looked so peaceful when she slept, making Mitchel's heart flutter just looking at her.

The small girl was facing Mitchel as soon as he got into the other side of the bed. He was exhausted and he knew he was, but he couldn't help but continue to look at her. Yes, he's seen her all the time. But for some reason, this time around was different. He admired her in a much more different way than he ever has.

Soon enough, the braided boy's eyes grew heavier and heavier, forcing him to sleep. Before he knew it, his eyes fluttered shut softly as he let out a soft breath, finally letting himself relax and fall asleep.
