I look up and I see sam standing in my room. I put my face back into my pillow
"what do you want. Havent you already yelled at me enough?" I say in my pillow. He doesn't say anything. All i could feel was someone sitting on my bed. I knew it was sam. I look up and i see him just looking at me.
"what?" I say sitting up
"I'm sorry." He says.
"ok" I said back
"that's all I get is an ok?"
"all I get is an "I'm sorry?"" him and I are sitting on each sides of the bed. We hear whispering on the other side of the door knowing that everyone was listening.
"look Ellisa I-" I cut Sam off
"save it Sam. I tried. I really did. I tried to make things work for us and I wanted things to work. But honestly it doesn't even seem like you care anymore. It seems like everything i do to try and make things better all I do Is make them worse. I can't help that im a fuck up. I cant. But I know for a damn fact that you're not perfect either." i realized the tears running down my face and Sam's expression was just sad
"Ellisa, you don't get it. I was super hurt when you told me that you fucked Christian. How else did you want me to react? By saying okay and leaving it at that? No I wasn't going to be like that. I had a lot of feelings for you. I honestly think I still do. I care still. I do. but something like this can't just change overnight. Plus you're leaving tomorrow."
"yea I know." Sam scoots closer to me and we just sit there in silence.
"I wanna try to make this work" he finally blurts out
"what?"
"I wanna try to make this out with us. But. Only if you want to." I put my head on his shoulder
"I'm down to try to make things work if you are"
