I absolutely positively negatively (what??) definitely hate it when authors do this. They write the book, and they keep on switching POV's. I understand it if they're in different situations and not in the same place, but if they're not, it's just annoying! And if you keep on switching POV's, then it's extra annoying! Here's an example:
Lillian's POV
"Marco! Did you finish your homework?" I yelled.
Marco's POV
My grandmother was asking me if I finished my homework. "No Grandma, I didn't," I yell back.
Lillian's POV
My grandson is so annoying. He never finishes his homework.
Cassie's POV
My older brother never finishes his homework. The teachers always get mad at him.
Mike's POV
My son is so lazy. He never finishes his homework. I sometimes spank him, because I am the best dad everrrrrrr totally swagggg ha ha I'm so cool
Marco's POV
I solved a very hard math equation.
Ally's POV
I finally arrived home from a tiring day of work. I saw my son Marco doing his homework.
Marco's POV
My mom arrived home.
See what I mean? There are at least five POV switches in here and they're all so short and annoying. PLZ STAHHHHHP PLZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!! I'M BEGGING YOU STAHHHP!!!!!
lol ignore that but seriously, it's really annoying. Some authors can switch POV's and not be annoying, but if you're not one of them, DON'T SWITCH FRICKEN POV'S!!!!
