Chapter 23: Grand Finals
~ Savannah ~
Grand finals is today.
It's today.
Time flies by so fast Noh?
Me,Lynelle,Monica,Tita Mommy,Lola and Therese.
Yes,she's back!! She went to Singapore with her family to visit her sick aunt so.
Again,Me,Lynelle,Monica,Therese,Lola and Tita Mommy will go to the salon today to get pampered up for the Grand Finals.
"Hi I am Mrs.Espanto,We have an appointment here" She said to the lady who nodded and told us to follow her.
Then we were dragged inside a room for washing the hair.
The girl told me to rest my head on the sink and boy that felt weird and annoying.
I started shifting my head but it didn't work.Its still annoying.
I swear im gonna get stiff neck because of this.
After she was done she sat me on a seat beside Lynelle and Monica.
She started drying my hair and brushing it then after that she got a culing wand and started curling the ends of my hair and finally tying it in a ponytail with some loose strands curled.
Then the make-up artist applied foundation then powder to set it.
Green eyeshadow,Lipgloss and mascara then I was done!
"You look so pretty!" Lynelle and Monica said."Thank you baby girls!" I kissed their foreheads.
Lynelle had green eyeshadow like me and red lip stick (TALO ako XD) .Two stands were tied behind her head.
She wore a 'Team Darren' shirt tucked in acid washed jeans.
Monica was wearing 'Team Espanto' shirt no make up or else she'll kill you then jeans and green converse.Her hair was in a messy bun.
"Here are your clothes" Tita Mommy handed me a black bag.
I nodded and went to the CR of the salon.
Then I wore a 'Team Darren Espanto' shirt tucked in a black skater skirt and black converse.
"I'm ready" I smiled.All of them stopped on what they're doing and stared at me with open mouths.
"Guys?....." I trailed off.
"You l-l-look Asjjdjsd" Therese cheered.She looks stunning.
Her hair was in an 'Elsa' kind of braid,'Team Darren' shirt tucked in shorts and brown ankle boots.
Tita mommy and Lola (yes,I call her Lola) were wearing the 'Team Espanto' shirt and denim jeans.
"Anyway,Before I forget....TADA!" Therese said then brought out....
WELL DARREN IS IN FOR A SURPRISE.

"Tita mommy! Where will we meet Darren?" I asked her.
"He's in the dressing room na e,So after the show or when he sees us when he's on stage" she said sadly.
"Oh okay" I said and then the silence followed.
"WE'RE HERE!" Lynelle and Monica squealed and clapped.
"TEEEEAM ESPANTOOOOO!" We all cheered and got down.
The entrance was packed with a lot of people.
I pushed through the crowd while carrying Monica,Therese carrying Lynelle and Tita Mommy helping Lola get through them.
When we got in,Tito Daddy was by the fountain just texting.
"TITOOOOO!" Therese yelled and hugged him.
"Look who rose from the dead" he said with sarcasm.
"Thanks,I missed you too" Therese teased.
"Missed youuuu" Tito daddy laughed.
Their relationship is cool.
"So let's go?" He said after we all greeted him.We nodded and walked off to the Newport Performing Arts Center.
We got to our seats and started taking pictures.
I took a picture of all of us then the stage and posted it.
"@SavyBlue_59: Let's go Darren! let's go! 👏👏"
Then the picture below.
"Hi Ate Twittle" I heard someone say.I turned around to be faced-to-face with her.
I gave her a sarcastic smile and started scrolling on my phone.
She said hi and I was like "Hi" then she went away.
The tension is now low.
"WHATS UP RESORTS WORLD MANILAAAAA"
Ngayon,Let the games begin.

"Darren Espanto singing with Sir Martin Nievera!" Kuya Luis said.
He knows how to play the piano.I did not know this.
"WOOHOO!" I cheered.He didn't notice me yet.
"DARREEEEEN!" No notice.

"Therese let's do it" she smirked and got the poster out.
"WOAHHH!" I grumbled.
"GO DARREN!GO DARREN!GO DARREN SEXY LOVE!" I chanted while doing Athena's dance moves.
"GO DARREN!GO DARREN!GO DARREN SEXY LOVE!" This time The Espanto's and Monica joined me and Therese while dancing too.
Darren spotted us and smiled + a wink for me.Sir Martin looked at me and laughed.
I smiled and continued chanting with the poster of Darren in my hand.
Soon,The whole Darrenstics were doing it.
Then the song ended.
"YESSS!THATS MY DARREN SEXY LOOOOOVE!" I yelled which made Darren giggle.
"THATS MARTIN MY SEXY LOVEEEEE!" Tita mocked.Thats when the whole Resorts World laughed.Ouch.
"How 'bout me?" Tito pouted.
"I'm already married to you" she teased.
"Okay,Thank you Kenji-Darren.I meant Darren and Athena and the gangsters I meant Savannah and your friends and family and specially! Sir Martin Nievera"Ate Alex said.
"Coach Sarah?" Ate Alex said.
"That performance?? Guarantee you are the next The Voice" she kept it simple.
We all did a standing ovation and yelled to the top of our lungs.
"Can I just add something?" Coach Lea said.
"Yes?" Ate Alex said.
"Can I please call up on stage,Ms.Savannah Cruz" she smirked.
Oh shiz.
I tripped my way over there.Yes tripped and stumbled on my feet.
When I got up,I walked over to Darren and we immediately put our arms around each other.
"So Savannah what are you and Darren?" She asked.
"We're just friends!" I smiled."Weh?looks like you ain't" she teased.
Me and Darren broke apart and laughed.
"Anyway,I called you up here para mag sample Ka!" She smirked evilly.
"Kanta po? I'm not prepared" I nervously giggled.
"No! The Go Darren!Go Darren!Go Darren Sexy Love!" Coach Lea said getting up and doing the dance.
I blushed and hid behind Darren who was laughing too hard.
"DO IT!DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!" The crowd cheered.I looked at Darren who nodded and lightly pushed me forward.
"1,2,3 Go
GO DARREN! GO DARREN! GO DARREN SEXY LOVE!
GO DARREN!GO DARREN! GO DARREN SEXY LOVE!" I cheered in between laughs while dancing.
Darren was rolling on the floor laughing while the audience and coaches were videoing it.
When I bowed the whole crowd and coaches gave me a standing ovation.
"Sorry Darren,I'm the star now!" I teased and help the breathless boy up.
"1 more request" coach lea said.
"What po?" I asked.
"You and Darren sing for us someday" she smiled.
I looked at Darren who nodded."Sge po" I said then the whole crowd cheered.
Darren helped me down and brought me to my seat then kissed everyone and went back on stage.
"If you wanna vote for Darren text 'Voice Darren' to 2331!! Remember vote wisely" Luis said.

Everything is blurry.
I looked up at Darren who was bawling his eyes out.
I didn't know what I did but I ran to the stage and hugged the boy and never let go.
"Shhh....Don't cry please! Awa lang,Nanalo sa Awa! The title is yours" that's all I said.
He just kept on sobbing.We all just stood there.Hugging.
Then his whole family went on stage and made a group hug with us.

Now I was going to the backstage to make sure he's okay,
I spotted him hugging Darlene who kept on crying.
I was walking forward "Da-DARREN!" Someone cut me off.
I turned around and saw Twittel running over to him and hugged him and Darlene.
"Okay guys selfie 1,2 *click*" I just stared and walked away.
"Hija,Did you find Darren?" Lola said to me.
"Nope" I lied.I hate lying but it is needed sometimes.
"Uh me and Therese will go to Starbucks muna po....Nica?lyn? Wanna come?" I asked them.They both shook their heads.
"Tita I'll leave Monica with you po! She doesn't wanna go with me e" I pouted at the giggling child.
"It's okay lang!" Tita smiled.I bent over to Monica's height.
"You! *booped her nose* *she giggled* be a good girl for Tita ha? Okay?" She nodded and hugged me.
"Love you ate!" "I love you too,Bebe girl!" I said and kissed her forehead.
"Let's go?"Therese asked.I nodded and did a buzz pose.
"TO INFINITY! AND BEYOOOOOOND!" I yelled running to the escalator.
I heard Therese sigh and whisper to herself.
"Why are we even friends?"
I giggled and ran to Starbucks.
"YES WALANG PILA!!" I praised and ran over to the counter.
"Therese ikaw muna" I said.She nodded and went in front of me.
"1 cotton candy frappe and chocolate fudge bar" she said.
"That will be 500 pesos (not sure if that's the real price)" She nodded and handed him the cash.
"Next"
"Hi! I would like 1 vanilla cream,no whip and bacon & cheese sandwich"I ordered.He nodded and typed it in.
"That will be 530 pesos (not sure with the price also)" I nodded and looked for my cash.
"Oh gosh!" I muttered and saw I had no wallet.
"Kuya,Can I cancel the order" I nervously giggled.
"No-Ill pay for her" I heard a familiar voice say.
"Juan!Thanks,You are such a life saver!" I hugged him.
(A/N:When Savannah said you are such a life saver I thought of Juan Karlos' head is a life saver and his body is his normal body.Whoops!)
"Only I'll get to order too" I nodded and smiled.
"1 Chocolate Chip Cream Frappe please" he smiled.The guy nodded and punched the order in.
"That'll be 600 pesos" JK handed him the money and then dragged me over to the waiting counter.
"Hi,Can I please take a picture?" A girl asked JK.
"Would you like me to take a picture for you?" I politely asked her.
"No,I want you to be in the picture!" She giggled.I smiled and nodded.
Then we took a Retrica Selfie.
"Thanks! I ship you guys together" she smiled.
I almost spit out my saliva.
"Huh?" Jk said.
"Well,I ship Juittle & Sarren,But you guys seem cute together too"She said and walked away.
"Awkward" I blurted out.He erupted in laughter.
"Sabannah" the barista said my name wrong.
I got the drinks and looked at the spelling.
"Sabanneh"Juan laughed when he saw the name and took a picture of it.
I took a picture of it too and then a selfie with JK.

"I wanna introduce you to someone" I winked at JK.
He looked at me confused and followed me.
We walked to Therese who was pigging out with her fudge bar.
I cleared my throat which made her stop.
"SAVAN-Juan Karlos Labajo.I can't even.Im dreaming.Yeah." Then she fainted.
Good thing there were only 2 people inside.
"Give me a hand please" I said to JK who was just staring at the girl.
"She's pretty" he blurted out.I looked at him.
"I-M-meant-HAHAHA! Wala na sinabi mo na e!" I cut him off,laughing.
"Get a cup of water there" I pointed to the table on the end of the room.
He walked over there and filled a cup with water.
"Beautiful girl, forgive me" JK said then poured the water on her.
"AHHH!" She yelled and stood up.
"The heck!! That was fudging hot water!" She yelled,wiping the water off her face.
"Sorry Miss" JK said to Therese who froze and stared at him.
"Savy,Do me a favor and pour cold water in 2 cups" Therese said.I looked at her confused.
"Just do it" she said still staring at JK.
I grabbed to cups and poured really cold water in it and gave it to Therese.
She started drinking the water from the 1st glass.Then the 2nd one....
She splashed it all over herself.
"And nope,This isn't a dream" she said and hugged JK.
"Well,Why not get new clothes shall we?" JK said hooking arms with her.
"I would love to" she smiled and walked off.
They just met and Therese is already spoiled with her future boyfriend.
I sighed and sat in a corner by myself.

I looked for JK and Therese who didn't leave yet pala.
"Guys,I'll go find Darren k?"
"Yeah,k,bye" they waved me off just staring at each other and giggling.
They're mental.
I walked and walked until I remembered Darren was with Twittle.
I sighed rather loudly and sat near by the fountain.
"Bakit? Sa twing ako'y lumalapit
Ika'y lumalayo-Savy" I heard someone sob.
I immediately turned around and hugged a red-eyed Darren.
"Let it all out" I said then he full on cried.
"Shh" I rubbed circles on his back.
"Here's some water" I said and gave him my water jug.
He chugged it all and waited for awhile to calm down.
"Listen,You are talented,smart,cute I mean that,kind,sweet,friendly and funny.You are the whole package! Girls run after you and boy envy you! If to makes you feel better I guess they're gonna change the title of the voice to the votes.BOSES ANG PUHUNAN AT BOTO ANG LABANAN THIS IS THE VOTES KIDS! Funny? Or nah? Okay it's not.Anywayyyyyyy,You lost today not just because you aren't good enough but because God has other plans for you" I said and hugged him again.
"You always know what to say" he smiled.
"Anyway,Go sexy sexy love?" He wiggled his eyebrow at me.
"What? SDTG" I smiled.
"Let's watch kaya!?" He said.
"Tara!!!" We looked at each other for awhile and smiled.
"TO INFINITY AND BEYOOOOND!" We both cheered and ran to the escalator.
On the way up we saw the others going down.
"OMG! Darren Espanto!" I mimicked the fan girls to make them notice me.
"OI! Where are you two going!?" Tita yelled.
"Date" Darren explained then intertwined hands with me.
They all smiled and nodded.
We ran up bought tickets and lined up in the food booth.
"Hi-2 butter pop corns put only little salt on the other one and then 2 royals" Darren ordered for me.I looked at him surprised.
"You still remember after all these years?" I smiled.He nodded and got our food.
"Let's?"
"Let's"

It was pretty boring since it didn't start yet.
But then I heard Richard Gomez's voice.
"ITS STARTIIIIING!" I squealed and hit Darren's arm.
"Aray! Savy!" He complained.
"Sorry"

"Ayoko na! Kse nagiging totoo na!" Athena said.
"Nagiging totoo na yung ano?" Kenji asked.
"That I'm starting to like you!" Athena explained.
"DARREN! THE FEELS!" I squealed while hitting his arm again.
"Arm abuse!" He pouted at me.
"Sorry bebe boiiii" I cooed.

"I can't breathe" He replied.Athena pulled away.
"Ang sabi ko I love you" Athena said staring into Kenji's eyes.
"At ang sabi ko,I love you too" He said.
"THE FEEEEEELS!" I slapped Darren's arm again.
"My arm just died" he stated.
"I came breathe too" I teased.

"It's alright,We will all be all right" Richard smiled.

"GAHHH"
I bawled my eyes out.
"Tissue?" Darren said sobbing too.

I said my goodbyes to the others and carried Monica to the car with Darren beside me.
He opened the car door for me and kissed my cheek and Monica's forehead.
